Very honest car repair, got my brakes fix and inspection, was really quick, good service, clean waiting area for customer and good price.

Please please! Do not take your car anywhere else, I took my manual transmission Jeep there because sometimes it randomly won’t start, I took to 2 shops before and the dealership, the two shops couldn’t figure it out, the dealership quoted me for $3000. Hempstead auto did it for a third of the price, and the dealership didn’t diagnose the right problem, these guys are great, trust me don’t waste your money and time

The only place I'll take my car! Henry and his staff are amazing and most importantly honest. He explains everything and will even show you the problem first. They kept my old car on the road for many years and they are the only ones I trust with my current one.

Henry is usually good but last time he just ripped me.
The best way I can describe this establishment is by giving an example like when we decide to take our car to an auto mechanic shop is like walking into a doctor's office or a hospital. You going in thinking you only have one issue and when you come out you just got five different prognosis. But the difference between Hempstead auto shop not only that they are professional they are trustworthy and believe me I don't trust anyone especially when it comes to my baby Audi Lucille. The boss's name is Henry the most humblest person I've met in the auto mechanic industry and his workers are well educated especially when they comes to German cars. And if you do have a German car ask for Carlos he's one of the top mechanics when it comes to German cars. He is certified with all German cars and they do not replace any part with just any brand name they use original equipment manufacturer part. So basically what I'm saying when I bring in my Audi I know I'm getting the truth and not getting beat over the head like an Audi dealership which I think they are ridiculous charging you $520 an hours for just the labor. Not including the part come on man but not this older mechanic shop
