As a 34 year old woman, I've NEVER had such a poor exam or office experience. The front office staff is rude and act like they hate their jobs. There's no greeting or eye contact, just "sign in." I waited forever to be seen for my appointment and was sitting in a waiting room with people coughing everywhere. Mandatory urine test for all yearly paps in a disgusting bathroom that never has any soap. The nurse practitioner came in without introducing herself, took one swab for the pap never checked ovaries, which is a first, and then was out. They told me i had to come back every 3 months to get a refill for birth control, which my last doctor only had me visit once a year at most. I can only think it's a scam to get more insurance money. Since I wasn't able to find a new obgyn quickly enough, I came back 3 months later to get another refill and asked about it. They said I MUST be seen and do a pregnancy test every 3 months. Again, the office staff was rude and unwelcoming, disgusting bathroom and waited just to be told I would have my refill and to come back in 3 months. I will not be having any future appointments at this office.
I have never been treated so badly by a Dr in my life. He dismissed my issue and judged me by how something looks different. I didn't get any answers from him and will never go back.
If you want to wait 2 hours plus for a scheduled appointment this is your place. I literally wait at least 2 hours everytime and watch people that just came in leave before I do. Would not recommend.
This office is definitely shady. They overcharged me SEVERAL times for my copays stating I had not completed my deductible. They are NOT reporting any of my payments made to my insurance. They make me schedule several appointments just to see the same nurse assistant a day apart! One for blood test results the others for bloop pressure medication. When asked for a copy of what I’m being billed they never completed my requests. Advised me the biller wasn’t in but will contact me, which still hasn’t happened. I went through 2 miscarriages! The first they never directed me to the ER or recommend I get a D&C. I checked myself into the hospital to have the first procedure done. The second miscarriage, I called the day I went to the ER, the set me an appointment for 2 days later! I was sent home to release my embryo while waiting for blood test labs to come back for another 2 days. All they are concerned about is the dollar you pay outside of what they collect from your insurance. Stay AWAY!
Waiting room was nice and clean. Staff was super nice. I had an ultrasound. Evalyn did a wonderful job. She was super nice too. Great experience. I was worried when I read the reviews but I’m glad I gave this place a chance.
Service has gotten worse and Holly office manager lacks professionalism and common phone etiquette. I'm not sure how they've employed her for this long but she's been an ongoing issue for multiple patients.
AWFUL! DO NOT come here. 1 time showed up at 8am and no one arrived to even open the doors until right at 8am. It was at least 30 mins before I was seen. Another time showed up early for appointment later in the day, signed in, and was not even acknowledged until after the appointment time. In addition, I was charge 4 times the normal copay $15 amount saying my deductible had not been met for ALL 4 of my family members. This made no sense for a routine visits but I paid it to get the appointment done. I checked my insurance online to see where I was at for my deductible and discovered that no claims had been filed. I called to tried and find out why the claims had not been filed and what was going on with the copay. The front desk sounded completely clueless but went and asked someone else. I was told this was what they "saw online" I pushed further and was told that my visit Nurse Practitioner and was a specialist visit which would be only $30. They said well if its wrong when we file the claims you will get refunded. I do not need them holding on to hundreds of my dollars until they decide to refund me. I cancelled any further appointments and will go somewhere else. This place is SHADY! DO NOT go here. I will be reporting them to my insurance as well.
It took me 3 hours to get my services even though I had an appointment. I made an appointment at 10:45 am to get blood work and a physical exam for my school health compliance. The front desk informed me to come in early to fill out paperwork so I arrived 10:30am. I wasn’t checked in and given forms until 10:57. After my forms were completed it took another 30 minutes to be called to the back where I waited another 15 to see the provider. By then it was 11:45am. The provider got my information for my physical exam and told me to sit in the lobby to be seen by my phlebotomist. I waited for another 15 minutes and was called to the front desk where they told me now that it is 12pm, the phlebotomist has gone out for their hour lunch. They told me I could come back at 1pm to get my blood drawn. I was frustrated because I had made the appointment for a blood test but they didnt tell me about their lunch hours and how I would have my appointment split in half because of it. I wish I was informed of their schedule so I could’ve adjusted the appointment so I didnt have to wait so long. I left and then came back earlier at 12:50pm because I wanted to be seen right at 1pm. I then waited another 20 minutes till i finally got my blood test. I was finally out of the office at 1:25. So from 10:30 till 1:25, i was at the office when this all could have been avoided if I was informed of the lunch hours. Even without the hour lunch break, spending 2 hours at the clinic seems unreasonable considering I had an appointment and a simple request.
I am really going to try and be clear and concise as much as possible throughout this review although I am beyond frustrated and upset. As a disclaimer, I absolutely love both Dr. Toledo and Dr. P. I hate going to the doctor ever and usually have crippling anxiety about it, but both of these doctors made me feel at ease and were very kind, welcoming, and professional. However, I do not know who is in charge of the nightmare that is their billing and coding department/insurance verification. Being that this is my first pregnancy, I don't know much about insurance when it comes to these appointments, so at first I thought $200 a visit was normal albeit very expensive. After speaking to several moms in my life, as well as checking with my insurance provider, I was informed that this is grossly incorrect and that I needed to look into why I was being billed so much. I called them on Tuesday 01/04 and was told I would get a call back by the next day 01/05. Today is 01/07 and I finally got a call back that I missed... right at 2pm when they close. If that doesn't scream shady, I don't really know what does. If you have to come here due to your insurance, speak with your insurance first to know the expectation of what you should be paying. Advocate for yourself. Because obviously there are people working here who have absolutely no idea what they are doing.
I am an adoption specialist working with a birthmother who seeks prenatal care at this facility. We have requested two records from the office for weeks without them following through. We provided all required, compliant documentation and have been told with each call and fax that the office manager Holly will process and send to me or call me back. After 10 attempts at collecting the information needed to move forward legally with the adoption and being told it will be processed or I'll receive a call back, nothing has been done. There was one attempt after over a week to send me records, by a different rep in their office, but what was faxed to us was for a totally different patient which is a HIPPA violation on their part. I destroyed the wrong information we received and informed them of their error, which they were not concerned or apologetic for. Almost a week later, they still have yet to send me the correct records for the patient we've inquired about, which is holding up this birthmother's adoption plans. One of the records is over 6 weeks old so they've had plenty of time to complete the record and process our request. I was finally put through to Holly today after stating I would wait for her to finish another call rather than leave my 10th unreturned message to her. Holly came on very volatile, rude and unprofessional. She informed me she doesn't have to return my calls and doesn't have to comply with my request on behalf of this patient. She spoke over me, was very hostile and loud with a bad attitude. I couldn't believe she represented this facility as a manager as I've never dealt with a medical professional this rude or unwilling to help a patient. I hope the call was recorded and the doctor can see how badly their employees work with other entities. We've allowed plenty of time, have been kind and patient, left messages and sent faxes repeating our inquiry, with each attempt being told I'd get a call back or it would be processed. Yet now they are saying they will not follow through with the request even though it is within legal limits and HIPPA compliant. If they would process the request I would no longer have to inquire with them or seek the needed records from their office, however they refuse to comply. It is very sad to experience this with a medical professional responsible for assisting the patient in their needs and desires. I can't help the patient and do my job if they refuse to do theirs. I will be filing an official compliant and asking for this employee to be reviewed for her poor performance. I hope that others don't have to deal with Holly and her lack of ability and professionalism. I truly hope we are able to move forward with helping the patient so that her needs are met regardless of the treatment from Holly at this facility.
