I had an okay service. I was told that the clothes would be ready on Tuesday after 5pm. I went on on Wednesday and only my pants were done so I left and came back on Thursday when they were done. I got a text saying they were complete around 8pm on Wednesday night. Apparently they don’t do this in-house/in-building. When I went to pick them up, I was charged $24 with tax for a basic two-piece suite. That’s way more expensive than any dry cleaners in any state I have taken them too. The people are friendly there and that’s the only reason I’m giving this higher than 2 stars. I won’t be going back unfortunately.
Henries is one of the best dry cleaning I’ve been to. We moved from the Bay Area and tried multiple places but henries is consistent, they do a great job with the clothes, take care of it and so timely. I’ve gone their with multiple times with oil stain issues and every single time they d taken care of it without compromising the quality of the clothing. Highly highly recommend it .
update: the owner contacted me and bought me a replacement. not ideal, but the best outcome, so upgrading my review i've been using henrie's for all my dry cleaning needs for the past ~year. overall, it's been as-expected. one recent experience has left me really disappointed and wondering whether henrie's is worth the premium they charge. when i noticed the other week that one of my favorite blouses hadn't worn since it was dry cleaned at henrie's had a blue plastic substance baked into it think wax but can't be scratched off and embedded into fabric weft, i took it in and was told they would get back to me within the next couple days with a fix. it took them 2 weeks to get back to me. when they did, they told me they weren't able to fix it but kindly offered reimbursement. i go to the store to pick up the check and am surprised to see that my blouse isn't at the store--i'm told by the clerk that it's with management. i then ask the clerk whether she can call management now to confirm and she just looks at me and repeats she'll call them right after and assures me again that i'll be able to pick up the ruined blouse which i still want because it has sentimental value since it was a gift when i come back to pick up the rest of my dry cleaning. when i went back to pick up the dry cleaning, i'm told they don't have my blouse anymore and that it's store policy to not return the item if reimbursement is given what? why?. this is also obviously counter to the expectations set by the store and has made me pretty frustrated with henrie's management and service. will definitely be reconsidering whether i continue to use henrie's in the future.
David and Amanda were fantastic. Thank you guys for the fast turn around. I looked sharp in my new uniform shirts.
I’ve been coming here for over a decade. They’ve always done a great job and had stellar customer service. This review isn’t for their Dry cleaning as I’ve had jackets, pants, suits, shirts and all my laundry for a period of time done here. When I went in a few weeks ago to get a tear on a jacket fixed I dropped it off and was told it would be about a week and was quoted something small enough for it not to be a big deal. When I picked it up I noticed the receipt said it was also cleaned at the cost of $100 and then fixed. I had to send it back and the tear wasn’t fixed and asked why they had dry cleaned it when I only asked for it to be stitched together. I was told someone would call me the next day. No one called. A few days later I dropped off a Wool coat to be cleaned and brought it up again and was told again I would receive a call from a manager the following day. No call. Usually they call and leave a Voicemail when my items are ready, so I know they have my number and I’m receiving their calls. When I picked up the wool coat I asked about it again and this time a manager come over and talked to me about it. Incredibly nice and respectful with stellar customer service as always. This time was a bit different though in that I was told that BY LAW they had to dry clean any alterations. When I asked what law, she couldn’t state and said that was coming from the CEO. She then proceeded to tell me that she remembered telling me that there would be a $70 dollar cleaning fee a few days ago. I had to tell her that I never spoke to her and that it was billed for $100. All of this said, Per usual, being awesome with customer service they took my card and said the cleaning fee would be refunded in 3 to 5 days. This isn’t a negative to their cleaning, awesome and the people are always friendly. If you need an alteration, take it literally anywhere else. I usually take stuff to D’Antii down the street usually, but wanted to only stop by one place. This ended up costing my much more for something that I was quoted would be under $50 to being well over $100 and then being told I was told about this prior. Not to mention the time lost in following up and asking, stopping by and asking and ultimately having to press for an answer.
Took a dozen shirts, a few pairs of slacks and a suit here. I picked them up two days later. They did a fine job. Felt like it was a little expensive but I do not visit dry cleaners often. Would suggest this place to anyone that needs a cleaner in the area. Will probably visit them again.
Excellent in every way! They did a rush service for me which my regular cleaners would not do. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Really appreciated the little details like 1 email notifications when your order is ready, and 2 they attach a cardboard closure to the bottom of the dry cleaning bag so items won't fall out even if they happen to fall off the hanger. Prices are a little high, but no higher than my previous cleaners who did a good job but did not offer rush service or have the other little details. Last but not least, our clothing came out beautifully! I took in one silk dress with many layers and my bf's dress pants and dress shirt, and each item came out perfectly. I have found my new dry cleaner!
I've only lived in Salt Lake City for a year, and have been trying to find a good place to take care of my staple pieces and audition dresses. The people here were so friendly and helpful, and everything came back in pristine condition. I'm so happy to have found such a solid establishment that I can have confidence in if I have something very important that I need taken care of in a timely manner. I was also thrilled to find out that they also have a tailor, which is something I will most certainly be taking advantage of in the future. Thrilled to have found this place and I highly recommend them, they are worth every penny.
