Absolute magic!!!! My uncle is a pastor and has been using the same Bible for over 40 years. It lived in a carrier because the clumps of pages were no longer linked to each other. It had random stickers in conspicuous places to keep the cover in one piece. The cover and the pages were precariously connected and the spine had reversed curved. BUT Henry did an amazing job of restoration. Look at this!! It’s better than new! It holds its own, it feels solid, he even embossed Holy Bible back on it. The spine is C shaped again and the pages are straight. If you have precious books, you can trust Henry with them bonus point for the extra fast service he gave me our whole family is grateful to him!

I brought my sketchbook pages to Henry, and he bound them wonderfully to a book. This was an amazing experience. Worth every penny!

Henry did an excellent job rebinding my mother's 35 year old cookbook! He replaced the cover and binding completely and managed to save the original cover design overlay, which he transferred over onto the new cover. He cleaned up the page edges and added a built in bookmark free of charge. He also finished the work a day earlier then he quoted me; will definitely be returning to Henry if I need anything else in the future.

Over the last 7 years, I have collected hundreds of autographs in the WWE Encyclopedia; unfortunately, the wear and tear of taking it with me to various signings and conventions led to some severe degradation to its front cover, enough where it eventually detached completely. My girlfriend found Henry Bookbinding Co. and offered to get the cover the cover replaced as a holiday present. This place is old school New York, the type of place where magic happens in just a few days. I was able to choose the color of the new cover and the inscription I wanted and, I must say, I’m thrilled that my book is breathing new life. Please come here if you need your books rebounded! This is a treasure of New York City that must be preserved! The price was very reasonable and I would definitely do business with them again.

Mostly happy with the work. He rebound a book that has been in the family for nearly 100 years, but the pages with tears in them were fixed with - get this - scotch tape. For $100, I would have expected something more. But the torn pages weren't the main issue, the binding was done well and is now strong and will last another 100 years at least.

Henry is awesome!! He rebound my mom's bible, which she's had for 20+ years, and was in pretty bad shape - let's just say you couldn't pick it up with one hand. I don't have a before pic, but Henry's technique of "old on new" is amazing. He used the original cover, cleaned it up, and rebound the entire book. I brought it in Sunday and it was ready by Thursday. Would 100% recommend!

I had a great experience with Henry Bookbinding. I brought my book in on a Sunday and it was ready for pick up by Tuesday afternoon. I'm very pleased with the final product, it came out even better than I expected. The price was also very reasonable and cheaper than I expected. I have a Bible that was passed on by my Great Grandmother and it’s about 75 yrs old. This Bible was in MOST need of REPAIR and MY concern was that I did NOT want them to take away from its History, Originality and the Quality of its original form, if I’m making Sense. I was sooo Lucky in Find this place!!! Henry, the owner, was Very nice , I spoke to him several times on the phone and finally trusted my GUT and went to see him and show him my Bible. I informed him my concerns and he informed me not to have any worries, told me what he could do and in a week I went to pick up my Bible and to my surprise, IT Is Beautiful I’m sorry I did not take before pictures but this Bible was falling apart and he Bonded it so Beautifully, it looks like it has Its History and Originality!!! Beautiful work This Bible is going to be passed on to my Son and his Children. Henry quoted “this Bible will LAST another yrs”

As neither writer nor a reader of reviews, I must say I feel lucky to stumble upon his place. It brings me great joy to see a tattered and torn wretch masterfully and dotingly restored. So the collection of rescued and battered tomes steadily grows, patiently waiting for their turn to see Henry.
