Not exactly like the bagels from the northeast in a Jewish deli but decent for Portland. Nothing special but not the worst bagel I’ve had. The smoked salmon is hot smoked, not cold smoked like lox. Their lox and whitefish are from Acme in NY so very salty. The prices are high for Portland. Like that they have Dr Browns sodas and at least half of the customers wore masks while ordering to go.
Amazing quality bagels! The breakfast bagels have tons of eggs and their bagel are fresh! Their prices are reasonable although some of their bagel sandwiches can be pricey. I’d recommend checking this place out!
Absolute best bagel in the city!!! I have had the hardest time finding a real bagel since moving here... it's all been this awful, thin-skinned, fluffy mess of circle shaped breads... until now! They make denser, chewy, satisfying bagels at an excellent price and the best lox I've had in a decade! Cannot recommend them enough, fresh, beautiful bagels my growing autistic teen will actually eat and you know that texture and flavors gotta be perfect to please em!
These are the best bagels I have had on the west coast. Hands down. Delicious.
These are the best bagels we’ve had in Portland. The drip coffee here is literally undrinkable weak tea colored water. I cannot repeat it enough: eat their bagels, like all of their bagels, avoid their coffee, seriously don’t get it backward, this is important. We moved here from Brooklyn, these are a great substitute. God I hate their drip coffee.
I'm not often compelled to leave negative reviews, but I was pretty disappointed with these bagels. They were way too pricey for being mediocre to bad quality bagels. Each individual bagel was $1.75.. I paid $8.50 for a ham and cheese sandwich on a bagel. The onion bits baked into the bagel were burnt to the point I had to scrape it all off. I'm not a fan of bitter burn flavor, but maybe that's just me. I believe it was only burnt because they toasted the sandwich, so at least it didn't come out of the oven that way. Although they advertise as "boiled bagels" they didn't have any micro-blister that I could find. So this place really wasn't worth the expense.
Best bagels in Portland! Love their cream cheese and that they have vegan options for my partner as well. The lox is by far my favorite thing to get. I get the bakers dozen every other week and freeze so I can enjoy daily. Always a quick pickup and always yummy.
A cute little shop that had a constant stream of customers while we were there. They misunderstood my friend's order, so he was a bit bummed, but my order was accurate and delicious!
West coast bagels are not east coast bagels, but of the locally made west coast bagels on offer in Portland, these are some of the best, for my money. They sell out every day so go early if you must have a specific kind.
I got a toasted blueberry bagel with honey almond cream cheese, and it warm and gooey and delicious. The outside of the bagel was satisfyingly chewy. Service was very fast.
