Henry Trimble Animal Shelter

Called today to report that I had a another stray dog inside my fence. I had captured the dog and left it in a crate in my driveway. I was told that they could not pick it up because they didn't have a functioning vehicle?!?! I was informed that if I dropped it off after I got home from work and their office was closed, it would be considered "abandonment" . Two years ago, two stray dogs attacked my rabbit cages (I had to euthanize all the rabbits that the dogs didn't kill) and I began leaving phone messages before 8am and I never got a call back. I had to track down a cell number of one of the employees to come get the dogs. Three years ago, a stray dog got in my fence and killed a chicken. They came out with a tranquilizer gun and ONE dart. And missed.

Nice staff, animal kennels were clean, they had toys to play with, and they even have a place in the back for em to run around. One of the guys there even put in a real fire hydrant for them to pee on! xD
