Heritage Surf

We had a group surfing lesson, 9 students to 3 instructors. The instructors, 3 teenage boys, were very disorganized and just talked to each other most of the time. We only spent about 5 minutes on the shore with the briefest of explanations as to how to surf. When we went out in the water, the guys would sometimes push us into a wave without telling us. There were a few times when they gave us really bad pushes and students would just go crashing into the water. They didn't split up the group of 9 students, but favored one boy in particular who was doing really well. I went over half an hour without any attention from them and most of us just ended up lying on our surfboards in the water.

Nothing but unfriendly vibes and stares. The staff act like they know more than you, regardless of your knowledge when it comes to surfing and make you feel unwelcome. They treated my friend's that are newer to surfing like idiots.
