Hibiscus Spa

Most amazing, pampering delightful experience ever. I have never had this type of facial ..ever in my adult life. It was relaxing, I felt completely comfortable during entire treatment. I also opted for the additional eye treatment. My 11 year old had her own facial..not as extensive but she loved it. Plus,she had time to check out sauna while I was still getting my facial. Hopefully we will be staying at same resort at some point and I will most definitely have facial as #1 priority.

I scheduled the Pick Two, 25 mins facial and 25 mins foot massage for $85. I absolutely enjoyed every moment of the facial but I didn't enjoy the foot massage, I barely felt the massage and it didn't last 25 minutes. After the sessions, I paid $85 + 20% gratuity and service tax. Which was no surprise because those fees were listed in super small print on their advertisements. What I wasn't expecting was an additional $30 hold on my debit card. I called the Spa and questioned the charge and was advised that my bank picked the amount that was charged to the card 🤔. When I attempted to question her statement, she rudely spoke over me, so I thanked her for her assistance and called my bank. As I already new, banks do not pre-authorize amounts that are not submitted by a company. What I did learn was Hibiscus Spa submits pre-authorizations with an additional $30 fee (just in case) they need to add an additional charge. Wow! I'm going to assume that because this is a high vacation/tourist area, instead of losing money by charging an incorrect amount, they over charge and submit the receipt for the correct amount later. Sneaky and underhanded and unexpected from The Marriot. UPDATE: 6/02/18 Woke up wilth a red, itchy, swollen face. 😞Allergic reaction to one of the facial products.

I loved the spa. I had a couples massage and facial and both were amazing. The receptionist was very rude to me and also a mother and daughter that had came in after. Not sure why she still works there after that.

As a local absolutely my favorite spa in the area. Gorgeous, attention to detail and the staff is top notch. Best facial I've had in my life and the massage was exactly what I needed. Now making standing appointments every other month. Will also be bringing friends and suggesting to guests from out of town. Cannot imagine being disappointed here.

Not Happy! For years my wife and I have enjoyed either a massage/Mani and pedicure at the spa. Our recent visit for our pedicure was OK but the massage I received three weeks ago still affects me. I didn't ask for a deep tissue and the massage overall was good except he pressed too hard on my right foot. I am now and have been in moderate discomfort. I had x-rays done and fortuantely nothing is broken. It's more bruised. Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation are in order for 6 to 8 weeks!
