Looks like a nice place, unfortunately it’s being ran by a sad team. Maria is pretty cool and so is Rebecca but Kristin man I’ll tell ya, she brings the whole place down. My interactions with her is of that of a high school girl with an attitude. Not to mention they wouldn’t even let me switch apartments after I was being repeatedly stalked and harassed by the man living directly across from me. They said all they could do was keep it on file. That made me feel nice and safe at night. So I ended up moving and still paid rent til th lease was up. Left my keys on the counter and got a rude call from Kristin huffing at me about it. Nice way to go out . Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Oh and hickory creek, save you “sorry email me with concerns” comment please.

It really makes sense that these people only have 2 stars on google, I am sure that it will decline even further in the near future. When the new management/ownership took over everything went downhill. They were rude and would always leave nasty letters complaining about something. When I moved out, they charged me $500.00 on top of taking money from my deposits to "redo" the carpets and floors that were already awful in the first place. It was not even worth arguing because at this point I just wanted to be rid of these people. Do not move here, no matter how "nice" they make it seem. Not worth it. Spend the extra $100/month. We moved to Abbington West End and have not had the same issues. Your quality of life will be better elsewhere. They deserve every bit of this review, TRUST ME.

Great leasing experience. Have not started living here. After walking the grounds a few times, the tenants voiced opinions that they are happy with the community, location, and the average level of crime relative to the surrounding areas. Your mileage may vary.

Simply mediocre. You can probably live somewhere nicer for the same price or somewhere that may cost a little more that's a lot nicer! The apartment itself is fine - enough room for someone like me, pretty typical layout, meets my needs just fine, etc. However, the parking here is terrible. When I live in an apartment, even if I don't have an assigned spot, I don't expect to have to park in a completely different area of the complex. Sometimes I have to take a pretty lengthy walk to get to my apartment and when I get home at 12 AM from work, that walk in the dark isn't very fun. The walls are paper thin, but that's usual. I know management is always complained about across the board, but theirs sucks! The people who work at the front office are nice and easy to work with, but past that, they are incompetent and never get anything done. It's great that they're nice, but I've lived here for almost a year now and I gave up on complaining about my AC and dryer units, so my dryer takes an hour to dry each load and my AC gives me no relief whatsoever from this heat. And I understand that maintenance visits are known for sometimes being unorthodox and sometimes coming in unannounced, but I've had their maintenance men come into my apartment while I am showering or indisposed in bed. That first one happening could be grounds for suing somebody, but I let it slide and it hasn't happened since, because I made sure to give their office quite a lengthy Email about it. Wrapping this up, I wouldn't warn someone to stay away from here, but I wouldn't recommend it either. If you're looking for a completely middle of the road, average, mediocre place to live, then maybe this is your place. If you think you can do better than mediocre, find somewhere else!

I have lived in Hickory Creek Apartments for a few years now. The grounds are dirty, trash everywhere. The parking isn't that great. If you get home after dark you're going to have to park far away. I've lived in 3 separate units in this complex (my first one burned down, left the second one because I didn't need a 2 bedroom anymore, and now I'm in a 1 bedroom.) And if you need anything from maintenance or the office, you should be prepared to wait awhile. In the unit I'm in now, right after we moved in the bedroom window poured water onto my bed when it rained. We had to sleep in the living room. And it took them 2 weeks to come fix. The staff is friendly and I feel they are trying but sometimes it falls short.
