Hidden Grounds Coffee - Jersey City

Great neighborhood coffee shop! It has everything that I hoped for - The place is beautifully decorated and the coffee is on point. I had a cappuccino and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The baristas were also very informative. I was not disappointed at all with my visit, and I recommend that everyone check out this place and support this local NJ coffee shop!

Hidden for sure but well worth the search. Perfect place to meet a friend or post up and catch up on work. They have some really good gluten free deserts to chose from too

Decent coffee, poor service. After waiting about 5 minutes in a small line, I ordered a cappuccino. Sat down to wait and noticed that the girl who was supposed to be making it was milling around, then checking her phone then wandering around again. Meanwhile at least 6 people are sitting there waiting on coffees. After 20 minutes if coffees being delivered about once per 5 minutes wait, I told them they could keep the money and left.

I had a wonderful experience here. Great coffee and chai. The bombay sandwich was yummy. Go give it a shot !

Is in a great location no doubt. But they only have three tables, an uncomfortably tall couch on one wall, not a place to sit down and eat with others. Food is as expected, not cheap. But also not good. Grilled cheese was literally a slice of cheese melted between two bread slices, not how you make a grilled cheese. Bagel I ordered was okay but also tasted really bland. All in all not a very good experience.
