"Don't be the rider who gallops all night and never sees the horse that is beneath him" -Jelaluddiin Rumi
Charles Ward and his family established High Point Farms (HPF) in 1961 as an equine boarding, and breeding farm. The scenic acres of HPF were the home to over 50 horses at one time. However due to family illness the Ward family was forced to sell the farm in 1974. It then became the building site for a number of modern day homes. In 2000 the farm was reestablished and renamed as High Point Farms II. The reestablished farm is now located on the same street, in the same town, and owned by the same family as it originally was. Though the reestablished farm is no longer a large thriving business, but rather a small intimate family farm it does still contain the same quality care, and friendly family atmosphere as it did over 50 years ago.
