Highland Dental Center

I’ve been coming to Highland dental for a couple years. I am always impressed with my cleanings and appointments. The staff is all very friendly and accommodating. Sue was my hygienist today and she was so gentle, which helped ease my “dentist anxiety”

From check in to check out, the entire experience was wonderful. Staff is very friendly, the dentist Dr. Barnes took his time when addressing my concerns and answering questions. The hygienist was also very informative as she explained each step she did. So happy to have found this facility. Recommending it to everyone I know!

This dental office has been reliable for many years until recently. Now they are understaffed and have been rescheduling appointments for months out from their original date. Original date was scheduled for November - got pushed to December then again to January. Now I have received a call that my appointment is now scheduled for March. Such a disappointment..

Always good listening, great care and a good patient experience. A long time ago I decided I was not going to spend my health care dollars with any medical professional that could not be genuine, caring and respectful. Highland dental and Dr Theurer came highly recommended to me when I was searching for a dentist and I have never been disappointed. From office staff to hygienist, assistant and dentist I feel comfortable and well cared for.

Dr. Theurer is our family dentist and has been for 5+ years. No matter where we moved in the state we always come to highland dental because they are the best. Dr. Barnes is also amazing and when I broke a old filling and needed the pain fixed ASAP they got me in with Dr. Barnes the same day in just 2 hours. The dentist here are the best in the state and deserve this 5 star rating and more for their level of commitment to their patients. P.s. the front desk ladies, I would call the angels have some of the best manners and hospitality of any industry. You will be treated right by every staff member. Just an amazing team, they treat you better than family.

I’ve been going here for years, and I’ll just keep doing so! Everyone is great. Dr. Theurer pronounced like ‘tire’ is not only efficient and skilled, but a great guy in general. And in 30+ years of checkups, I've never had a cleaning as gentle on the gums as I got from Liz. Careful, considerate cleaning! This office is full of wonderful professionals. Tell yo friends.

Cozy, clean, comfortable environment. Suitable for adults and kids, meaning they make it a pleasant experience for everyone who comes in. Danny is always friendly and makes you feel like an old acquaintance, and he helped make sure to be cost conscious when I didn't have dental insurance. Excellent dentist, staff and office.

Having a phobia of the dentist, I have to have someone who makes me feel comfortable and patient with my fear. Danny and CO. Have done nothing short of an amazing job, making it relaxing, comfortable, and efficient to clean my teeth, do 2 fillings and a crown. Grateful for someone who takes this job serious. 10/10 recommend

I haven't always taken the best care of my teeth and between that and being genetically prone to cavities, I have experienced more than my fair share of trips to the dentist. I hadn't been to the dentist since I was a teen though because my experiences haven't always been the best and I HATED going to the dentist. A few months ago I was forced to see someone due to tooth pain and I had been recommended to go to Highland Dental Center. I'm so glad I did. The ladies at the front desk are so warm and welcoming and Dr. Barns and my dental hygienist Katy were gentle, amazing, and comforting and my fear of dentists is totally gone now that doesn't quite mean I'll be spending my free afternoons getting my gums poked and my teeth drilled or anything. But Dr. Barns was so gentle with the needle he uses to numb the gums before drilling cavities that I couldn't believe it. If you have a fear of the dentist I would totally recommend this place!

It's the front line system that needs work. If the receptionist isn't available, leaving a message via voicemail isn't an option. Just have to remember to call back. Also, the appt text confirmation processes does not allow a way to cancel the appointment, just to confirm it. Same is true for the email they send. The other thing is they don't call to try to bring you back in if you're due for an exam. They don't seem concerned about keeping their existing customers. It's like this dentistry is set up to be convenient for the staff, not the client.
