I have used Hillcrest Appraisals for several properties and have been impressed and satisfied every time-. Josh was efficient, well-priced, and responsive.

600 dollars for 10 minutes what a joke. (i understand that he could have worked on my appraisal for an hour or so more) Promises made and not kept. I would never use this company for the ridiculous way I was treated during the appraisal, I took the day off thinking that I would be able to show him everything about the house for the price I paid. But he wanted nothing to do with that. If I wouldn't have talk to him for over five minutes I don't think he would have been here longer than a few minutes. There are allot of professional company's near by with out using this one.

This place was horrible!! They first said they would be at my home at 11:45 am and then show up at 9am without any notice. Then the appraisal came back $30,000 lower than the one two years ago when the market has done nothing but go up. Use another place to get you appraisals done!!!

Would not recommend using this company. The appraiser we used was completely impersonal an not thourough in his evaluation. Because the weather was poor, he didn't want to"hurt" his camera and didn't spend time evaluating the property. He did not explain the process AT ALL and made promises to complete the appraisal in a timely manor but did not follow through with that commitment causing us to be late on our deadline with our bank in purchasing our home. If that isn't bad enough, the final appraisal was off by 20,000 from what a second appraisal got us. Complete and total waste of time and money. Not to mention being treated poorly throughout the process by all involved. Save your time, money, and patience and go with a more ptofessional and thourough company. You will save yourself a world of frustration.
