Hillsong Church, Downtown Phoenix Campus

My family and I have been attending this church for 2 years now. It is a wonderful, loving, open hearted church. The first thing you see when you walk through the doors are the words “Welcome Home” and that is exactly how I feel when I’m here. Worship is modern, engaging, and glorifies Christ. The preaching is more of the same- Christ centered, Bible based, and practical for everyday life. Pastors Terry and Judith love this city and everyone who comes through the doors and you can feel it. Highly, highly recommend attending if you are looking for a home church or just curious about God.

This is my fourth attempt the write out a review because I can't stop listing all the things I love about my church. I'd say if you have questions about you should probably just come and see. Come, meet some people, stay around and chat after the service. So many people seem to think that the church is a service and they judge off of that idea... but the church is actually people. And the people are beautiful. My family and I feel apart of this huge family and thank God everyday for the people we have in our lives now. Yes, services are great. Yes, we do our best to present our best for Jesus. But don't look at a review on Google to make a decision. Just come and see. Easter is next week.. Just saying.. :)

I am a devout Christian and I don't know that there is any one right way to worship, but if you want to see passionate love for Christ, you will see it here. I see reviews that leave me more than baffled - a reference to income and race by Mr. Lewandowski in particular. I attended the 11:45 service this past Sunday, 1/28/18 and I was a minority in my row (I am a white, Western European woman) and the African American 20-something man to my right welcomed me as I did him, the Worship Team of 8 - 10 people only had 3 white people. The 7 babies that were dedicated that day were all Hispanic and/or African American. I have no idea where that critique came from except from some need to denigrate a church doing good things and bringing people into the faith, regardless of age, heritage, our sins. This is a Church of God and Christ. If Mr. Lewandowski attended a Catholic Church in South Phoenix, he might have made similar generalizations about that congregation - assumptions of income, voting preferences, etc and he would have been WRONG as well. Do not let our differences separate us. Listen for the message. You will find a message for you at Hillsong, and you will be welcome. Period.

you'd find a godly female w/ 3rd grade manners/attitude quicker at a strip club or street corner. do not seek any godly women here.....rude trash. 8th grade again.

I recently moved to Phoenix from a different country and Hillsong Phoenix has been an incredible family. I really do love it here
