So, I'm kind of getting tired of trying to take pictures of food while I'm eating. It just seems disrespectful anymore. But the food was good here, the service was great, but the woman that was in charge of seating, however, was not. I've met some snooty people in my life, and this woman was up there. Service was friendly staff seemed to be happy put off a good atmosphere. But the lady in charge of seating is just rude. And we called and asked about reservations we were told to come down and a reservation for not needed but then we sat in line for an hour. Really would have liked to have made a reservation and just had my seat ready. Great fireplace outside great food and is 3 1/2, 4 out of 5. Service I would put in the same category. Is the lady in charge of seating,
Hillstone features handcrafted sushi, classic American dishes, and great wines in this modern romantic setting with a lively outdoor patio. Hill stone is one of our favorite restaurants in the Biltmore area and my husband's personal favorite for sushi. What we love most about Hillstone is its intimate four-person reservation limit. This limit creates a personal dinner experience to remember. We always take our out-of-town guests and double dates here to connect and have a stress-free environment. I always always get the Pan Roasted Salmon because it’s filleted in-house daily and melts in your mouth. The side of mashed potatoes are so creamy, and the star of the kale salad is the homemade croutons
I went here on a Sunday afternoon. Walked in, greeted nicely by staff and server was nice. The food was better than I expected. The bill came out to $100 for 2 people. We got the Hawaiian ribeye and Carolina beef ribs. Also got a side of mashed potatoes. Very good. Expect to pay between $35-50 per person. A bit expensive but food is good, service is good, will return
Not gonna lie I was a little sad when my hubby didn’t book a romantic French restaurant for Valentines Day, that I really wanted to try. But turns out this place was open last minute and got us in and it was EXCELLENT!!! The food was amazing, it was romantically lit, the Tuna Tar Tar was unreal!!!! And the service was top notch. Now it’s a place we frequent! We always sit at the bar and Al takes good care of us! Their Bees Knees is amazing, you should try it! It’s definitely a place that we eat ate at least once or twice a month. Super great find!!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!
The service is great. The staff is polite and attentive. The food was presented well and the taste was good but not mind blowing, which I expected for the price. We had the Artichokes quite the adventure figuring out how to eat them, Thai noodles and the pork ribs. The ribs were "fall off the bones" as promised. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 is because the entirety of the experience did not justify the prices. I know of other restaurants that are more reasonably priced and deliver more bang for the buck.
They make a wonderful dining experience for you, with delicious food, drinks and atmosphere. The food will fill you up, but feel for the price, it wasn’t as “craft” as one would hope, being that this is my own opinion, I still give it 4stars because it still was delicious and have no complaints about anything besides that Service was amazing. You can tell they make their cocktails with love. Will return for sure
The ambience is wonderful and warm; with it being a slightly cool night, the fireplace was lit. Our server, Liz, was energetic and friendly. We ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, the Kale & Rotisserie Chicken salad, and the Hawaiian Ribeye...all delicious!
First time here at their wonderful establishment. We dined here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary! Our server "Helen" was very patient and fantastic!! And the focaccia bread was to die for truly yummy! We ordered the "Wood-fired Roasted Chicken" w/broccoli reggiano and the "Hawaiian" w/French fries! We will definitely be back
Great service, great atmosphere, great staff, great food. Friend recomended Hillstone when my aunt and uncle paid a surprise visit. I wanted to take them somewhere nice with great tasting food. They didn't disappoint. Unfortunately I forgot to take pics before we dug in but the food was worth every penny. It's pricier than say olive garden but doesn't break the bank. The waitress was also very patient and kind with me. Having a soy allergy means the wait staff has to do a bit of extra work and research. But our waitress knew her menu well and rather than just telling me something had soy so she wouldn't have to take the time to check, which a lot of restaurants do, she took the time to make sure. I would highly recommend for those days you want to dress up and go out for a great meal.
Great ambiance and setting. Solid spinach dip and the ribs were good except I didn’t love the mustard sauce. I like the bbq sauce and ribs better at Houston’s.
