Hinkley Swim Pond

Totally and utterly full of trash. The water looks like guacamole and tastes like nuclear waste. I have found a truck tire, shopping cart, traffic cone, a mailbox, used condoms, syringes, and tampons in the water, and have seen people washing their dogs in there. One of my younger siblings got sick after going in there and it ruined their July. I warn you, do not visit here if you want to swim. The playground here is ok, and there are also some bicycle jumps across the way and my son found that most enjoyable when we were there. He didn’t even bring his bike. But everything else is a poisonous mess.

A great park for kids to play at - two stations with slides and things to climb and several swings. Most importantly, there are lots of trees and the lake so it's not uncomfortable on hot days. We haven't been swimming here, but the park section is very nice.
