Doing great things with Arkansas history!
Tens of thousands of Arkansans and tourists enter our doors each year — including thousands of schoolchildren — and are welcomed into a world where the past is alive.
Here, they connect with actual objects and hear real, first-person stories of Arkansas’s early days. They step into a house where trappers, boatmen and surveyors passed through; or into an exhibit that follows the path of Arkansas’s first people: the Caddo, Osage and Quapaw.
Open the door to Historic Arkansas—someone is always home.
