Hobby Lobby

I wanted to add some more bits of color and decor to my new place. The selection and variety of ideas that were sparked while looking around made my job harder because I had so many choices and different ways I could go with those ideas. It's hard to pass up a 50% off sale. Hobby seems to have these sales quite often. I took advantage of previous 50% off sales to pick up all my art supplies and to mat and frame a portrait I had done. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I only wish my place was bigger so I could buy more items and try out those different decor ideas.

I always have a decent experience with this store. The associates and managers are helpful and friendly, and the store is always clean. The only “complaint” I might have is that when I “need” a certain yarn, it is always the most popular color in that yarn and the stock is either low or out! But not a reason to give fewer stars, just proof that others have the same great taste in yarn colors that I do!

Ames, IA location: staff is very pleasant and helpful. Store is maintained well. Only critique is front area is too crowded with displays too close to registers.

Absolutely wonderful customer service. I was very impressed! The associate in sewing helped me so much with my daughter's upcoming prom dress . The store was clean and organized

Jokingly I’d live to give a 1 star because there’s almost too much for the wife to look at when shopping. Lol In a seriousness, a great store for a multitude of crafting materials and various household decorations. Friendly and helpful service.

Don in frames was friendly and helpful. I love that Hobby Lobby has a dedicated staff member in a workshop area inside the store. It is so helpful and hospitable!

Just called about finding some pots and some sealant, staff member was super knowledgeable and answered my questions quickly. The staff member even offered to put the items on hold for me! Awesome customer service!!

Always fun to shop her. Great bargains on tshirts for my new cricut hobby.

Big place with diverse inventory. They stock lots of items espousing a particular religion. They do have some interesting and useful items. They claim to offer matting/framing services, but I went there 2X for that and both times that dept. was closed though the sign said differently. So I went elsewhere to get my pieces matted and framed. I needed help with art supplies but couldn't find anyone to help me with that either. Prices are high for the quality of goods, which ranges from questionable to okay. Location is in a semi-seedy shopping center. There is plenty of parking though, so that's nice. The store is arranged poorly and interior signage is confusing. The employees at the checkout the only 2 I saw in the whole store were nice but slow. The store is obviously very understaffed.

Great prices. Would have liked more checkouts available.
