Hog Wild Pit Bar-B-Q

This restaurant features a variety of BBQ and other comfort foods at reasonable prices. The interior is well kept and clean. The staff is patient with customers. Food is decent. The food I've had was lacking in the "smokey" flavoring I'm used to with other local BBQ. The music was a bit loud while eating so it was hard to carry on a conversation. The place is good for at least one meal. Try it some time.

First trip to this establishment with my family today. Excellent variety of food combinations with decent portion sizes relative to the prices. Not a single morsel of food remained on anyone's plate when we were finished. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will be making return trips when visiting our Omaha relatives again.

Oh boy...where to start..... So I walked in during the lunch hour. Place was practically empty - should have been my first indication - but I am willing to try something new. I go to the cashier who seemed bored, and asked for a 3 meat dinner combo: Brisket, Hot Links, and Ribs. I get my food pretty fast. I go out to the car, the smell of burnt barbeque sauce permeates my car all of a sudden. I go to work, pull out the box. Turns out the burnt smell I was smelling was the toast. Okay, no sweat. I pull out the ribs. They're baby back ribs, and I get 3 bones. They were nice and tender, decent flavor. Then, I open the box. Expecting nice slices of brisket, and a decent sized hot link.....nope. See the picture below to see what I got. Chopped up brisket. It was dry that's how you fake up a brisket when it is dry - chop it up and sauce it to cover up the mistake and sauced. The hot links taste like cut up hot dogs with barbeque sauce on them. Only reason why I'm giving this a 2 star is because the ribs were actually good. UPDATE - Removing a star because this Mac and Cheese is AWFUL, and the corn tastes like it came straight out of a can. I mean, STRAIGHT. ZERO seasoning. Lazy, lazy, lazy cooking....c'mon.

Their baked potatoes loaded with meat are tasty, but they run out on occasion, especially over the noon hour. They also have had issues with mopping the dining room area with a greasy mop in the past. That was an interesting experience. The food is good, the atmosphere is ok and the staff is usually pretty friendly.

A solid little BBQ joint. The ribs and sausage were good. The brisket was decent, and the pulled pork was very good. The fries were a little generic, but the beans were above average. No complaints about the portion size or the service. If you're in the area and looking for some BBQ, you won't regret giving Hog Wild a shot. One note, they're not open late, closing at 8pm even on Friday or Saturday evenings.

The food and service was pretty standard and I had no real complaints on that score. But I used the rest room before I left. It was not acceptable. The urinal was so unclean the front of it was stained green. It was clearly dried urine. The toilet had not been cleaned in a while and had smears and marks. It makes you concerned that if the restroom is so unhygienic, how is the personal and kitchen hygiene? It's reasonably priced and convenient, so I'll try again. But I'll check the restroom first and if it is in the same state, I will not be going back.

This place is our go to.! It is always good.! Ribs, pulled pork, brisket & chicken is delicious.! It never disappoints.! All of the sides are great and the service is excellent.! My friend had Hog Wild cater their wedding & I'm pretty sure we will do the same if that says anything.! I mean when you can go into a BBQ place and get a 3 meat combo with 2 sides and a drink for $13 bucks.! Count me in.! Stop by give it a try and leave a review.

Food is good, but the floors are seriously dangerous.. slick and slippery like they are coated in oil, but they aren't. My in-laws almost fell numerous times. I spoke with the manager there at the time and he said it is an issue with their heating/cooling unit. Be careful if you go here and plan on eating in the restaurant until they have this issue solved.

First time going here and It was the best BBQ i have had in awhile. Reminds of me oh home cooking BBQ. I am also pregnant and this was so good the baby enjoyed it. The first meal I have had in awhile that didn't make me sick while eating it. Thank you so much!!! You guys are the best!!!
