The room has been great so far. The hotel is close to lots of fun sites like the Orioles stadium and within walking distance of the Inner Harbor. The only downside is that the hotel is right beside a fire station and you can hear the sirens really well if you are staying on that side of the hotel. We really liked the swimming pool, although it was quite cold, but it had just opened for the year so that's understandable. Overall we've had a nice stay and I would recommend it again.

On the pricey side, but it's just because of its downtown location. Rooms are clean but small, with very small bathrooms --the door only clears the toilet by about an inch. Nice exercise room and pool. Parking is $30/day, ouch! If you're willing to walk you can do better at many downtown parking garages. Buy the room plus breakfast buffet package if you plan to eat there at all. It will save you money over paying for the buffet separately, which carries a hefty $16.95 price tag.

Very nice hotel for a good price! If you’re there for baseball you can’t beat the location for the price! Minutes on foot to Camden yards! Staff was very friendly and very helpful. The parking deck manager was very helpful and accommodating to our parking needs after we checked out! Will definitely be staying here again next year!

Stayed four nights here while on business travel. Older building, not aging well. Rooms smelled like old smoke.
Bathroom filled with hair of last occupant.
I did not have a fully functioning toilet until my last night. I notified the hotel 4 times of the issues but because of my none standard hours it made it hard to immediately follow up. So I would get assured it would be fixed and get back to the room in the late evening to find it won't flush at all or flushes once.
Cleaning staff ignored the broken toilet and didn't mention it to the management or maintenance.
One day someone left their room service tray by the ice maker that evening after dinner and no one picked it up until about 8 pm the next evening.
The cleaning staff forgot to stock room with any towels one day as well as I had to specifically mention the long brown hair all over the bathroom before it got cleaned.
I will never stay at this holiday inn again.

I've never had such an unpleasant encounter in any service or hospitality industry business.
I unwittingly brought outside food into their bar/restaurant area, sat down in a quiet corner on a low volume night and started to eat, work on my computer. I was asked to leave, and while vaguely annoyed I agreed to do so.
I did not rush, and was finishing my slice of pizza and wrapping up an email on my laptop when a second employee came over and told me to leave. I said I was going to leave, and then he just stood there, waiting. I was a guest at the hotel and didn't appreciate being rushed / escorted / kicked out of the area, and told him he didn't need to stand there. He asked me again if I was leaving, I told him again that I was and repeated that he didn't need to stand there. He then informed me that he was calling security, which I encouraged him to do, so he left and did so.
When another employee (security) arrived, I asked him to come with me to the front desk. I'd closed up my belongings by this time. We went there together and I explained the situation to the front desk manager. She was very polite and apologetic and handled the situation well, and I was grateful for that. She said she would speak to that employee and his manager.
Ruined my evening and left me very agitated, took a while to calm down. Hopefully they can do a better job of training employees to avoid escalation and frankly just be more decent in their interactions with people.
