Nice, spacious and clean rooms. I was very happy with cleaning and hygiene. The beds and pillows very fine. The shower was acceptable. Also, great location in the center of the city - still a very quiet area, though. The only bad experience was that one day breakfast opened more than a half hour late. I was having breakfast at 6 am every morning and really didn't like that I had to wait one of the mornings... But I guess these things happen. Still a good and affordable choice.
Checking in was all right not sure what kind of day the lady in the evening was having but she could have been more welcoming, The room was clean and the working a/c was nice to feel on a record high temperature week it was 100 degrees the day we got there. We peeked in the pool area but didn’t use it, They had a nice size looking hot tub and pool. The two Queen beds in the rm we were in seemed springy. I was Double charged when I should of been charged for just the deposit - not sure how that happened, When calling back and asking about it the other lady helping me was quick to want to resolve the issue so that was nice. That area is very walkable, A block away you are near a lot of the restaurants on Main Street, Walking distance to the mall areas, little bit more but doable walking distance to the public library. The breakfast is pretty basic We ran in there before leaving at 7 in the morning All we grabbed was the muffin - there was juice, milk, yogurt options, your basic cereals, they had oatmeal out with few different toppings to choose from.
Great overall stay at this hotel Room was spacious and clean, plenty of towels and better toiletries than usually expected in a hotel Breakfast was great, never got too busy and had a great selection of food Parking was the only pain, being round the corner just to access was inconvenient but not awful Pool and hot tub and sauna were great. Sauna took a good while to warm up but nice to have Rooms: Roomy clean and well taken care of. Each bed has labels on pillows for firmness. Not cardboard feeling sheets either Food & drinks: Breakfast free for all guests. Wide variety of food options
A well located and affordable option. Several hotel services are on offer. There are also vending machines and ice machines on premises with some options Downstairs. Breakfast has good options, opens 06:00-09:30 weekdays, but 06:30 on weekends. In the room there is also an ironing board, iron, microwave and fridge which is super useful. Other amenities as expected are here such as a pool, comfy beds and coffee etc. Rooms: Clean, comfortable and air conditioned. Walkability: It’s about two blocks from the tram directly from the airport which is great. There are also several shops and restaurants nearby.
Great location downtown, within walking distance to many bars and restaurants. Parking was an extra $20/ night, able to retrieve car as many times as you need, however after the fact, noticed a few places within short distances could have very easily have parked instead to discount it. Rooms were very clean and updated. Breakfast was a good selection. Rooms: Well appointed rooms, really liked the window shade/ curtain device. Blocks out a lot of light, makes it very dark. Nearby activities: Tacos, hotel bars, parking Walkability: Downtown walking distance Food & drinks: Many food options around
Absolutely top notch. Fantastic. Maggie at the front desk was outstanding and so friendly! Great service, excellent rooms. Walking distance to Temple Square. We loved the large jacuzzi hot tub and the sauna.Rooms: 5/5
This is an amazing hotel. Everyone who works here is dedicated, but Chavonne, who handled the front desk, is amazing. First time at this hotel, and I would definitely come again. In heart os Salt Lake city, train a mile away, city buses outside door, many places to walk to nearby. The dry sauna and hot jacuzzi best I have ever seen. Gym has tons of exercise machines.
Location is great! Rooms are clean and modern. Breakfast is very basic so don’t count on it. I had some issues to check in even though I informed them that I would be late, but at the end it was sorted.Rooms: 5/5
Poor management and rude front desk employees! Maggie and Vanessa. Don’t stay here. They turned away my 18 year old and 16 year old daughters six hours from home and in a strange city. Their policy stated that she could not check in without me present. No where on the IHG app does it say a minimum check in age. I was simply asking them to bend the rules given the situation. I was on the phone with management who was not at all sympathetic. This hotel will never have my business. My daughters stayed at the Hilton across the street and were warmly welcomed.
Doesn't matter that you speak to the hotel before you check in and make specific reservations. They don't honor their word. Terrible service, terrible rooms uncomfortable beds, overcharge for parking... all around terrible. Pay extra little bit and stay at the grand or little america. At least there they keep their wordRooms: 1/5
