Great old time theater with a modern twist. Staff is helpful and friendly and you can get the usual soda, candy and popcorn. Additionally, they offer craft beer and pizza if you're up for something more filling. The seating is modern and some seating isles have a long, raised table to set your goodies, along with the standard seat cup holders. Lines for treats can get long on weekends, but the staff is fast enough to keep it going at a fair clip. All in all, a great time to be had with more charm and character than average theater fair.

Classic theater charm with all the modern amenities. There is a decent tap list with mead and cider as well as beer. The popcorn is tasty and they use real butter on it. If the bottom snack bar is just you can go to the upstairs one with no waiting. They serve Sizzle Pie pizza, which is some of the best in town. The Hollywood shows first run films as well as classics. There is always something good to see. I really love this place. Glad to see something from old Portland that will survive.

The best theater, period. They have good hosts at The Ritz, Austin TX and New Beverly Cinema, Los Angeles CA, but nobody comes close to Dan Halsted. He's very enthusiastic before the show and gets you really excited about what you're about to see. Always a great time!

This theater is hella old, so keep that in mind.. but their seats are very comfortable. Besides that.. this place is an amazing treat. Sort of my home away from home. You can see so many classic movies here.. without the Hollywood Theater, I would have never gotten the chance to see so many great films in the theater. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This theatre is very comfortable. The seats were nice and with lots of space between the rows of seats. They have typical concessions, but with vegan butter options for on the popcorn. There is a neat room that tells about the history of the theatre.
