My favorite of the parishes I have attended. The people are very friendly and committed to living an authentic Christian life. The parish also runs a wonderful school for children from kindergarten to about seventh grade, St. Herman of Alaska Christian School.

This Church is the precious Jewel of Boston. We came to visit one day and a year later, we are members. The hour drive, for us, is well worth it!!!

If you are looking for an Orthodox Church that is welcoming of everyone look no further. Attend a Sunday liturgy which starts at 9:30 am on Sundays to see for yourself. Make sure you stay for the entire service which goes until 11:30 am and don't miss the Coffee Hour downstairs following every Sunday liturgy.You will find a beautiful and well kept church that is filled with wonderful people of many ethnic and cultural backgrounds tied together by the orthodox faith. You will find families with small children participating in the services as well as some of the original parishioners who have helped found this church. A lot of those that attend regularly are either converted to Orthodoxy or come from Orthodox countries like, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, etc. Some of the ministries that make Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church also very special are: 1) Monday's Open Door Free Meal Program, which has operated without interruption for over 20 years 2) Saint Herman of Alaska Orthodox Christian School, grades 1-8, which has also operated for over 20 years 3) Church Book Store which has a nice collection of books, audio & video materials as well as icons and other worship items In a nutshell this parish is a very active working community that is a great place to begin learning of the Orthodox faith as well as to start and/or raise a family in the same Orthodox faith.

Children and families always welcome and supported. Many generations of people. Delicious meals to satisfy after beautiful Sunday liturgies. COME and SEE that THE LORD IS GOOD.
