Holy Trinity Lutheran Church

I began visiting Holy Trinity in 2001 on a regular basis and joined in 2002. I came from a 6000 member church in Charlotte and it was somewhat challenging to get to know people. At Holy Trinity I've enjoyed getting to know other members, attending the various events happening there, participating in the different volunteer opportunities such as Family Promise, Stop Hunger Now, Backpack programs for children and learning how to make Chrismons for our Christmas Tree. The many people I've met have been inclusive and warm to me. One of my favorite memories of Holy Trinity is when my mother in law was too ill to attend church and the church came to her to give her communion. That meant so much to her and to me. I knew then Holy Trinity was the church for me.

Holy Trinity is a very welcoming and Christ- focused church, and is very supportive of the local community, especially the nearby schools. (Holy Trinity sponsors 50+ elementary school children through the Backpack Weekend Food Program and holds monthly supply drives for York Chester middle school). Truly a church that knows, loves and shares Christ! :)

I've been going hey for almost 3 years, and it is such a wonderful place to worship! The people are so friendly and ready to welcome you with open arms! I also love that there's always some activity going on every week so we can get to know the people outside of a worship service!

The first time I visited Holy Trinity, I wasn't even looking for a new church home but the next thing I knew I was going back every Sunday. The congregation is friendly and caring, the worship authentic, and the teaching sound. This is a place where you will be challenged to grow deeper in your faith while others come alongside you and share the journey.
