Holyland Market

I've braggd on this place for years and have even recommended them to others. Unfortunately that's not the energy that I possess today. I have only had one return of food in my several years since eating here, until today and it was the same as once before, I asked for a medium rare lamb plate and it was over cooked. He came out throwing a foot saying that lamb is expensive and he had to throw it away. Then he threw a for saying I do this all the time, at which I corrected him and said no I don't then he fevered to another customer who was referred. At which I exclaimed that I'm not responsible for others behavior, but I didn't get my food as I ordered. The cake was nice and agreed that I just received it and brought it right back in seconds. He then replied again LAMB IS EXPENSIVE and I replied I know!!!! I PAID AN EXPENSIVE PRICE FOR IT AND IT'S NOT RIGHT BLAME THE COOK!! BUT MY MONEY IS A LOT TOO... I was through and asked for a refund.. THIS GUY HAS TERRIBLE CHARACTER.

Enjoy trying different ethnic markets. This one did not disappoint. Clean. Excellent service. Wide selection to choose from. Worth the trip. Will visit again when in town.

This is a lovely store! And the owner is very kind and knowledgeable. They have a soup my Mom likes but can't get in the midwest. GREAT PRICES too!

Best Israeli products. Every thing is fresh and the place is so clean. Great service makes it fun for me to shop there. My family loves every time I bring home delicious food from Holyland and they even have online ordering thru Mercato.

Great selection and friendly staff! However, a little expensive - $11 for elite coffee and $7 for aamba. Gonna chalk it up to import duties for the good stuff and being a specialty store. They definitely have my heart.

As someone who is Arab, they don’t have any actual Arab cooking basics. If you want chips or candy, sure. Otherwise don’t waste your time.

Huge supply of Israeli and Passover products that are hard to find anywhere else, really helpful staff. Prices are fair. I should go there more often!
