I’ve been searching for the last couple of years for a place where I could get trained for Reiki and wasn’t able to find one that’s in person. They were all remote. I'm a hands-on type of student, and I need to see things done in front of me in order to comprehend and understand it, and I found the right place for me to get that training. And because of that, with this recent accomplishment of finally becoming a “Certified Reiki II practitioner “ , I must send a BIG shoutout to my great friend, teacher, and mentor Jennifer Perez from Family Holistic Center in Indiana, for all the support and guidance she showed during my time there, learning and practicing the methods of healing and supporting me in every way possible to embrace my true authentic self. So, thank you Jennifer Perez for your time, effort, and knowledge. I truly appreciate you and I look forward to continuing my work in this field alongside you and wherever I am needed as well.

A MUST SEE AND EXPERIENCE PLACE!! I’ve tried several approaches to Holistic healing over the past 5 years while living in another state and needed to elevate it to the next steps after moving to Chicago during the pandemic. What a wonderful experience! I was connected to these wonderful ladies and they were incredible. They developed a customized treatment plan for me based on my specific needs and over the course of a few sessions I was able to improve my symptoms. My over all health and energy level improved after my treatments. The kindness and thoughtfulness that I experienced at the hands of this wonderful team is unmeasurable. They were committed to see my treatment through with me and continued to support me with reading recommendations even after my treatments ended. Jennifer is a truly amazing individual who is highly educated and broadly experienced in a host of traditional occupational and holistic therapy techniques. Her unique combination of advanced degrees in Occupational Therapy coupled with her extensive certifications in holistic & Eastern medicine allows Jennifer to tailor customized treatments for each of her patients. Her work experience in pediatric clinics & public-school systems treating ADD/ADHD and autistic children is particularly inspiring. She has a very caring and empathetic style when working clients of all ages. The peaceful and relaxing surroundings are a welcome environment to unwind and let Jennifer do her "magic."

I recently got in contact with Jen and her staff to receive an Akashic Record Reading. It was highly recommended to me by a dear friend due to the fact that I am currently going through lots of changes in my life. I set up an over the phone reading with Jeff, and I was genuinely blown away! Jeff went into great detail about what Akashic Record Reading was and how the process worked, which I appreciated due to me not having much prior knowledge. I had questions which were all answered, and he even had things that he felt the need to tell me as well. He was so kind and thorough in the way he explained situations to me I’ve got to have every detail possible and I was so blown away when some of the things he told me became true in the following weeks. I am so grateful for Jeff and how attentive he was to making sure I was comfortable. To making sure I understood what I was being told. I was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months ago and was told I needed a mastectomy. I was very anxious about the surgery and the treatment. Booked a reiki session with Jen day before procedure and she made me feel confident and calm. Happy to report surgery went well. Had follow up appt with Jen a few weeks after surgery for balance and healing. I am happy to report with some lifestyle changes and Jen's help I am CANCER FREE and I did not need chemo/radiation. I just received my Reiki Second degree certification! I’m so excited to start this new journey. Jennifer has taught me so much! She takes her time to answer questions and makes sure that I fully understand everything. It was well worth the trip from Texas for this Reiki ll training! Now, even when I am miles away I will be able to connect energetically with my loved ones and send Reiki healing to those in need.

I was blessed with the incredible opportunity to teach a Kids Reiki class with the owner of the clinic. The place is beautiful and Jen is one of the most gentile, heart centered, and intuitive healers I have met in this lifetime. I was having Severe pain in my knee such that my knee would collapse; I felt like a running sensation of fluid in my legs from my knee down towards my ankle with increased pain with the knee bent while sitting in a chair. I experience pain when driving and have to work hard to compress the brakes on my car. I called Family Holistic Center and was able to get in right away. Jennifer was able to decrease my pain in one treatment session from a nine out of 10 to 2 out of 10 pain level. I no longer felt fluid running down my leg and I was able to get off the table without my knee collapsing; able to drive my vehicle Pain Free while driving. My leg was stronger and I no longer needed my cane. The swelling in my knee dissipated. While in bed, I was able to bend my knee later that evening without pain. I was able to go from sit to stand without my knee collapsing and without pain and without a guarded movement pattern. I am so thankful for Jennifer’s center as I was in this pain and swelling for three months. I highly recommend Family Holistic Center.
