Low quality, poor hours, and the ONLY option in the area. How is there not a decent sports complex in this entire area of Humboldt county? One that's not just for leagues, but for the public to enjoy? Even just a decent set of batting cages with helmet/equipment rentals? These cages are it, and that is really too bad. (follow up): 4pm Thursday still closed. Visited the main office for the fairgrounds across the street. They have different hours there for the batting cages: M-F 3:30-7pm Sat/Sun 12-6pm Plus two phone numbers, one is out of order. No one has correct information on these things.

stoked we have these! I've lived here for years and never knew. technically I've never been there...so i shouldnt rate it yet...but I'm taking my kids tomorrow assuming they're open and they're getting the benefit of the doubt. I guess I'll just hope the machines work. they need to update a number to call, though. I don't want to drive that far for nothing.
