Home Services at The Home Depot

I like Home Depot. We were here for outdoor patio furniture, but didn't find anything that was a good fit. Have been to HD lots of other times for building materials or power tools. They have an excellent collection of both.

I recently had Home Depot install a new patio door, and I wanted to share my experience in case it helps others make an informed decision. Initially, the first door that was installed had some quality issues: the vinyl was peeling, and the plastic welding didn’t seem well-executed. Additionally, the installers did not address the rotted wood below the door as I had requested. Although Home Depot had agreed to replace it with fiber cement planks, this was not completed, and instead, it was just covered with flashing. Home Depot arranged for a replacement door, but unfortunately, it arrived in the wrong color. After a follow-up, a second door was ordered and installed, but it turned out to be the wrong model, and the rotted wood issue remained unaddressed. In total, there were three doors involved in this process, and I am still waiting to receive the correct door and have the initial issues resolved. I hope this review provides some insight into my experience. While the products and service have been challenging, I hope that Home Depot will eventually resolve these issues. Needless to say, I would probably go with a dedicated company next time rather than a big box store. Don't let the affordable price lull you, as it probably comes at some cost.

We needed something for a patio door and after an underwhelming experience with Home Depot’s “at home” service for window treatments, I went to the Franklin Home Depot and found Jason! What a shining star this man is! In addition to a solid knowledge of the window treatment products, he was also so friendly and patient with questions. Even alerted me to an upcoming sale which saved us quite a bit of money! Unfortunately the survey link given at the time of purchase is only available for 2 weeks and I waited until our item was delivered and we hung it up. Our panel track window shade looks great and fits perfect! Hopefully Jason is acknowledged for his great Customer Service! Don’t hesitate to look for this fabulous employee if you’re in the market for window treatments!

Zach/Zack in hardware helped me find what I was looking for, and gave me more details about what I needed to get for my project. This is the Home Depot I always go to, but this was the first day that anyone has ever approached me to see if I needed help finding things/figuring out what was appropriate to get for the job. I’ve always sought workers out, but he approached me right away, probably knowing that I was just trying to figure things out on my own. Great work, great hospitality, good job to Zach/Zack! I haven’t ever given a review for Home Depot before, but Zach/Zack deserved it!

Doing some kitchen appliance shopping recently at the Franklin, WI Home Depot. Great selection to look at, knowledgeable staff to answer questions, clean sales floor. Katie helped us in the Polanco area, Jason in flooring and Handy processed our order. Great job by all.

I go to home Depot for Milwaukee tools to have a huge selection! The quality is very good The woods inside

Best store in the area for a lot of home repairs items. And you can compare the prices between its major competitors Lowe’s and Menard since the three are very near to each other in the east Franklin, west Oak Creek area. Less than half a mile the distance between any two of them.

It's an ok home improvement store. Not always able to get help right away and lumber is higher priced than Menards just nice that the lumber is indoors.

poorly managed store. typical home depot nowadays. no employees in the store to help customers find anything. all of the employees are standing around front by the self checkout lines. my last time coming to this home depot, will go to menards where there are actual employees to help.

We stopped in to purchase some floating shelves for my office just to be told by an unfriendly and NOT helpful associate that they did not carry any. Although, online this store showed 3 in stock. It was very frustrating because the sales associate did not apologize nor did she cared. Our frustration and disappointment changed when Jason walked by and asked if we needed helped. We had moved on to our next project...our kitchen backsplash! He was so friendly and knowledgeable and provided us with alot of insight, direction, and recommendations. Thank you Jason.
