Homestead Studio Suites Hotel

Management really cares! We arrived at 4:00 AM because of a late train and they held our room for us and honored our rate even after our credit card was declined for some reason. A couple of the lights in our room don't work and housekeeping is only once every two weeks, but you can clean your own room pretty easily. The kitchenette is good enough -- a toaster! -- and there are tons of good restaurants and affordable grocery stores within an easy walk. It's mostly quiet, the AC and heat are good, and the beds are comfortable. We might try to extend our stay hey, it's in the hotel's name, after all or try another place in Salt Lake City, but we're happy here, and we think you would be too. Five genuine stars. It's not the Ritz, but it's a great place to stay if you'll be here for awhile.

I stay in utah for work all week so my job puts me in a hotel. I've stayed in over 100 hotels throughout the country and this is one of the worst. 1. They are NOT thoroughly cleaned: Counters and stove had food stuck to em. My shoes stuck to the floor, and you could easily tell it wasn't mopped. Drawers, cupboards, etc all had crumbs, junk, in em. So I literally had to clean the room myself. 2. Rude staff. There was a guy the checked us in, and i went back to the front desk to let him know that the room was dirty and if he would pass that along, I'd appreciate it. I was polite. He starts yelling at me, and says, "so are you staying or checking out!". I said, "I'm staying, it's already paid for. But im just letting you know what i found in my room." He says, "is there anything else?!". I left the office n went to my room. Totally unacceptable. That being said..... it wasn't ALL bad. It's quiet. Beds are comfortable. Lots of closet space. But I've been doing this for a long time, i gave it 2 weeks 2 separate Stays and I'm out. I brought issue up, and felt that nobody cared one way or the other.

Had a great stay. The hotel clerks were friendly and helpful. There's a beautiful walk area that goes all around behind the hotel which my dog Benji and I enjoyed very much. The rooms were nice but could have been a little cleaner. The chair had dust on it, the kitchen garbage was full and the floor could have definitely been swept better. The real bad negative to this place is the "Chic-fil A" right in front of motel. It's off a busy congested street and the fast food place has their customers exciting in the small entrance to the motel, so the drive thru traffic blocks the motel entrance and you have to sit in line for awhile to enter the motel. I feel sorry for the motel and hope they can get this problem sorted out with the restaurant. All in all, a great stay

Deplorable. Rude and inexperienced staff, they do not and cannot communicate with eachother and are thoroughly unhelpful. Was left on hold and after waiting 20min, somebody new answered completely unaware I had been on the line. Showed no concern for our situation. The room was OK but nothing special and the drive-thru to chikfila will block your ability to enter and leave the property.

Kind staff. Very convenient location. Walking was awesome nearby. Great views in the back. Needs maintenance. Worth all 3 stars

BEWARE OF THIEFS! I stayed at this hotel for one night and my car was broken into IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL. When I brought it to the attention of the staff I was told that a manger will reach out to me for a statement, and I NEVER received a phone call about the incident. This was the worst experience I’ve had with a hotel.Rooms: 1/5

I am here for work and this is the hotel the company chose. Amazing location. Easy to walk to many great places. The room was nice and clean. Great stove and big fridge. Staff has been friendly and the continental breakfast was good. I am giving it a 3 because the laundry room has been out of order for at least a week. Soda machine as well. Other than those two things, I have no complaints about this place. I would stay again anytime.

Not a bad place, just has a weird vibe to it. Like I was afraid of the people walking in the parking lot even though I know Sugar House is a pretty nice, safe area. Our room was clean and cozy and the kitchen table area was nice to eat dinner at. We only stayed two nights and I used to be local to this area so my experience here might be different from others.

This was my worst hotel experience ever. Bodily fluids EVERYWHERE from puke, to other fluids i wont mention.. the smell when you walk into the room is enough to drop you to your knees. There was a red substance on the ceiling, appeared to be ketchup, but who knows. The bathrooms were disgusting, the kitchen sink was filled with hair and even had a bobby pin in it. Not to mention the 45 minute check in when there was no one else in line. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The room was terrible. It smelled, our peephole was plugged with a napkin, the carpet was stained, everything was sticky. The staff overall was helpful and nice, but one of them audibly used the R word. I booked this place on location, lots of stuff to do around there. I would NOT recommend this hotel. There are better hotels at better prices in the area.
