I have rented equipment from Honeyman several times. The service is terrible, the only thing worst is the actual equipment. They are unwilling to work with contractors or customer to rectify any situation that may cost them. They do not care about your time or hassle dealing with their unreliable equipment. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
We’ve used them for two outdoor events. Their customer service has always been great and accurate. Deliveries are timely as well. Very affordable. Delivery can be costly but it’s worth the pain of moving a genny yourself!
Everyone that works here is nice enough but what a racket. Bring equipment back two days early and get no refund. Won't be renting anything from Honeyman anymore.
I got a couple yard's of concrete a few weeks ago and rented a bull float, every staff member was great and helpful!
I rented an a flat plate earth compacting machine. The rate was $65 for the day or $45 for three hours. I got home and after the thing bounced around in my trailer, it started on the first pull. The thing performed absolutely perfectly which made my job go much faster than I thought it would. I returned the machine in around four hours and the guy at the front desk gave me the three hour rate and credited me 20 bucks and some tax without me saying a word. They were fast, friendly and very honest.
Honeyman, where sh** gets done. Adept, smart, instructive, and knowledgeable staff. Easy to load and unload, they have almost everything you can think of available for rent.
I rented a two man auger to drill holes for deck footings. Couldn't get the equipment to start, and dug the holes by hand to make inspection that afternoon. When the auger was returned, they couldn't get it started either, but since I didn't return it immediately, still was charged full price for unused broken equipment. The guy at the counter just repeated "you hung on to it" no matter what I said. Our company will never do business with Honeyman again.
Recently rented a lift, it worked at the place when first picked up not good up got it to work. Then got it to my place and the gravel wouldn’t get it level right for the old machine and that wasn’t stated before renting it and then when returning they tried selling me the better one for almost double and would only give me a partial refund and we didn’t even have it 2 hours and 1 hour of that was drive time to the rental facility. Very unexpressed and as a business owner I can safely say this is bad and greedy place that cares nothing more than an about making that extra buck.
Great place to rent everything. This is one on the only rental stores I will go to! They have just about anything you need and they have multiple of them so you will hardly hear that they are currently all rented out. This truly is a one stop shop for all rentals and their prices are good!
