I love the day care which is called little friend's learning center. All of the teachers and assistants since the pandemic are our top notch. The ones who were really bad ended up leaving or not working there anymore.
Went to visit since I was out of town and not a single person greeted me. They looked and walked right by me. The first church where I have felt uncomfortable. I was speechless to see how nobody greeted someone that's not from the church. Even when I sat outside waiting for my ride no one approached me. It was sad to see that happening.
Always felt the people and atmosphere welcoming. The potluck is excellent. This is where i came to learn the Mystery of Revelation and Daniel, and given the bible studies, the seminars held by Pastor Doug Batchelor, awesome thank you! Also, Pastor Mark Finley, loyal in Jesus. And many other wonderful Pastors and guest speakers from afar were all outstanding in knowledgeable Godly servers!. To the previous Pastor Nelson, Aloha! Blessed be to your wife and growing family for all your kindness. 2021 February.
We had a wonderful time visiting Central Honolulu church today. The members welcomed us so warmly with smiles, potluck and even a box of chocolates. We also appreciated the kindness of the pastor who went out of his way to help us with transportation. A genuine church with lots of heart. Mahalo
I consider this my "home church" whenever I'm in Oahu. Have been welcomed and treated with true Christian love. I highly recommend it and am looking forward to my next visit!
This is an awesome church. They are a family and will treat you as family too. A loving church where everyone is welcomed. Today is my birthday and they recognized me by singing happy birthday to me during potluck. My first time at the church and in Honolulu. The pastor is very kind and demonstrates that in his gentle attitude. They know how to treat others. The potluck is unlike any I have been to anywhere around the world. Kudos for Honolulu Central. Thank you all!!
Welcoming and sweet people of different cultures. Engaging Sabbath School with beautiful songs, instruments and participation. The service is masks to enter until you are seated, then optional. Most still keep their masks on for the duration of the service. Live special music and an option to participate in the service from home. There are alot of programs and participation opportunities for the youth and young people. Including adventures club, Adventist Youth and Vespers programs.
It's nice there. They have different sabbath school classes to meet your needs. They have the regular classes for the different age groups as well as different ethnic speaking languages. They have Chinese, different Filipino dialects, of course English, a Tongan and young adult class. They have a vegetarian lunch / potluck after the service. It seems to be a hit and miss. sometimes the church is very full and sometimes there is a lot of space for you to sit pretty much where you would like to. For now I think they are looking for a permanent pasture there hopefully they will get one soon.
Nice church building and a great guest potluck after church. Met a nice lady named Penelope a native Hawaiian who gave us a warm welcome. I attended in Dockers and a button down shirt thinking I might be too casual...I counted a total of three men wearing suits. As first time visitors we were given a box of chocolate macadamia nuts!
This church has Amazing members! Very kind, friendly, and loving! Truly a Christ-centered church! Mahalo!!!!!
