Honolulu International Airport Cultural Gardens

I feel the coziness of this airport and the warm welcome of Hawaii people. The coconut trees surrounding this place is amazing. Every spot is within walking distance, so you will never be tired of seeing things here.

Due to work commitments, my husband had to drop me off five hours early for my flight. Outdoors, on a comfortable bench, listening to birds chirp and the sound of trickling water – yeah, I can think of worse ways to spend a few hours.

Such a chill airport once you get past the COvID screening. Make sure you check the website. They only allow certain COVID tests from approved providers.

Beautiful spot to take in some fresh air and pass time on your layover while listening to the birds in the monkeypod trees and admiring the koi in the ponds. Families of ducks run and swim happily.

Nice gardens. There are Cafe's and fast-food restaurants. Check in and customs are quick.

This is the best place to pass the time in HNL.

What a surprise! Pretty nice to get those boots off and feel the grass!
