Honolulu Police Waikiīki Beach

Appreciate having the Honolulu Police Station close to Waikiki Beach to keep an eye on all the riffraff that can potentially happen. There is no shortage of petty crime down in this area at night.

The sub station is conveniently located for tourists staying within Waikiki. Outside the station is a memorial that was set up in honor of the fallen officers from the tragedy at Diamond Head.

I visited because I had to write a police report after losing my Gopro camera. There was a police officer who kindly responded by using a translator when he wasn't sure what to do due to his poor English. First time on Waikiki beach area, noticed lot of homeless problem but there were police patrol cars almost at every block. Felt extremely safe with the police. Officers are extremely friendly and helpful.
