I am so glad I found Dr. Sultan. She always listens intently, never makes me feel rushed or unprioritized, and works with me to find solutions I am comfortable with. I also appreciate that she considers my whole body health and how it affects my gynecological health, rather than just slapping on bandaid fixes. She takes the time to give me a full explanation of the reasoning, research, and science behind her suggested interventions in a way that makes me feel knowledgeable about my health and body and empowered to make the best choices for my well being. She is a wonderful doctor that I feel lucky to have.

I visited this office back in 2017. I remember having a very positive experience with Dr. Sultan. However, the staff is unprofessional and unfriendly. I got an email from them a couple weeks ago reminding me of a payment due since my last visit in 2017. I had not heard from them since then 4years!!!!. They said they had mailed me the bill but I never received it and I had changed my address with USPS when I moved out a year later so it doesn’t make much sense. Note that they had my email this entire time, but only reached out after four years by email. I tried reaching out to my insurance to cover the bill but they could only reimburse medical fees 2 years after the end of the payment plan even though this expense would have been covered. I decided not to let this frustrate me, and I agreed to pay the bill despite this inconvenience and the staff sent me forms to fill out before close of business. I am based in Washington dc with a big time difference but they were not mindful enough to provide me with an extension because I hadn’t seen the email on time and they sent my bill to a collection agency. I am now seeing my credit score drop. This is unacceptable, especially for a health center where patients are supposed to feel care for, and like they can fully trust the people who provide them with medical services. Once again, my experience with Dr. Sultan was great, but I am hoping this one star rating will allow her to see this review and hire more competent and caring staff.

Hands down, Dr. Sultan is the best doctor I’ve ever been to and not just in Hawaii. She’s very patient and spends a lot of time with her patients to understand what’s going on and looks at things with a wholistic and preventative view point, which I really appreciate and value and realize this is something very hard to find today. She’s very easy to talk to and I love chatting with her about anything and asking her all my health related questions. The office is very nice, clean, professional, and modern almost feels like a spa!. The whole staff is very welcoming and friendly. I would recommend Dr. Sultan to anyone looking for an exceptional doctor.

Declined me because I am 12 weeks pregnant. Even though I just found out and it is my first child. I am appalled that they deny someone for finding out “too late”. I will take my service and my lil bean somewhere else where my money is appreciated.

I have only had two exceptional ob gyns in my 50 years. Dr Sultan is one of the two. I wish she lived on the Big Island so it was easier for me to see her. Flying to Oahu every so often is definitely worth it to se Dr Sultan.
