Hoover Public Library

This libarary is very quiet and I study there once and it was pleasant. The staff are very helpful and I am always able to find the book I am looking for.

This is a wonderful facility for both adults and children. The staff is so helpful and pleasant to deal with. They can help with anything!!

They have an amazing number of different resources. The public library system in the Birmingham metro area is wonderful and demonstrates what public service could look like if the various municipalities work together. There are a lot of books, DVD's, graphic novels, AND they also have board games. There are several nooks that are good to read or do work in.

The best library in Alabama...So much media, even board games! So much to do for the whole family.

I needed a place to study so I figured I goto a library, what a mistake. I couldn't tell if it was a library or a social place. People are walking around talking on the phone, employee on the phone with foot upon the table, kids talking loudly. Library looked really nice from outside and inside but doesn't have many books. Doesn't seem to know how to prioritize, spending all the money on the building and not on the books. What a joke, I was very disappointed by the experience.
