Great location and great beer. This is a very chill place with attentive staff. They have lots of local brews and plenty of their own. Come check them out to take a trip to the Abq breweries without leaving your barstool. Clean restrooms.
Very clean, friendly staff. Laid back atmosphere and plenty of TV's to watch. The beer selection is pretty good. Do yourself a favor and try the Dad Joke or Irish tan. I ordered the Reuben and was pretty impressed by the quality of the sandwich. Definitely will be coming back.
Update: I've been back many times but my review is basically the same. The tres buster sandwich is great. The service is always good. Original: Not a lot to say. It was fine. Nothing too special. The French Dip was sub-par go to Spectator's, there's is the best in town, but my friends loved the food they ordered. The service was good, the English guy was great. They do need a new sound system though. 4/5, but I'll go again and see how it goes.
Fun peeps in here. They don’t take themselves too seriously and the food is pretty good. Extensive selection of beer and there are several crystal clear TVs with all the sports channels. On Fri night around 9pm a DJ lights up the place with great house music and popular jams. My only complaint is that there aren’t FRIES!
Love Hops brewery on 4th street. The atmosphere was cozy and beautiful. Set back from the road in an old church. Beautiful stained glass. Servers were attentive and welcoming. We are trying a new brewery in Albuquerque every Friday. This will be one to go back to for sure. Every single beer we tried was excellent.
I enjoyed Hops when I visited for the first time in mid-August 2017. The brewery/pub had that new brewpub smell to it - fresh and ready to go. They have a variety of local beers available in addition to their own creations. I was looking forward to their Warm Scottish Nights beer, but they were out so I had a Dad Joke and An Irish Tan instead, both of which I thought had good flavor. The menu was simple bar fare. The waitstaff was very nice, offered suggestions, and was happy to give this visitor a taste of anything. One negative, at least to me, is that the pub has followed the lead of many other brewpubs and bars and has covered its walls with televisions. As a person who likes to watch sports, I find myself distracted and trying to hold my attention to the people at the table and not let my gaze drift off to the various sporting events on all of the walls. But I suppose it is a product of our digital age, where we have to be looking at some screen whether it is on the wall or in the hand. Since the brewpub is on my way home, I'm sure I'll stop in there from time to time.
Great sports bar vibe snuggled in nob hill. We really needed one one these and I'm glad it's finally come! Environment is nice with lots of beers on tap. Only suggestion... more appetizers! Chips and salsa is NOT suitable for brewery apps and light snacks to pair with your beers. Bring on the appetizers!
The servers are top notch. They make me feel welcome every time I'm there and are the main reason I keep coming back. I enjoy the food menu, but I would love it if they had more non-meat or at least non beef options to choose from. While it's not the end of the world, it would be nice to have a few more thing to choose from. See you next time!
I'm not a beer drinker but was dragged here with some friends. The atmosphere was nice, and the bartenders were the kindest and most generous I've ever met. Bartender gave me some other options to sample, and I was very pleased with their ginger beer!
I had a good experience. The beer is well priced and their house beers are actually delicious. I was definitely surprised that they have been here for almost a year, as I’d never heard of it. I enjoyed the space and the service.
