Upon arrival the hotel atmosphere was very pleasant and elegant and when inside it was marvelous with the scenery. Came in late night the night front desk agent Zuzu was great even greeted me as my platinum elite and made sure my points was given to me she let me know about breakfast and recommended a few places in area I had no ice on my floor so she gave me ice from bar and extra towels when I asked for them her customer service was very friendly and genuine I’ll be back for business and I’ll stay there due to that experience
Indigo totally lost it. I have been staying at Indigo several times a year for the past 8 years as the location is great. The hotel is OLD and rooms worn down. Air conditioning did not work in my room. I told this at the reception in the morning and was told it will be looked at. Returning in the evening it was not fixed. Waiting for a long time in the reception for technician to check and failing to fix. Eventually got a new room where I just found out that the TV does not work. On top of this; out of 3 treadmills in the gym, only one is working. Sorry Indigo - I will not come back until I hear of major renovation. A real pity that a hotel with such great location is not better taken care of.
The entrance is a bit difficult to get into, its a one way in, one way out location. This is the first hotel I've been to that doesn't have a refrigerator or microwave in the room. The rooms we're very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the room was well decorated, it also had lots of receptacles and charging stations. They do have adjoining doors on the interior to the next room, the lady next to us used her outdoor voice our last two days of our stay, luckily we bring a small portable noise maker on all of our trips. Make sure to pay the extra money for the breakfast, it is worth it. The staff and bar keep were extremely nice. There is a pool and an outdoor commons area with umbrella tables with chairs and gas firepits. There is also a computer staion inside and a full gym on the second floor, sadly we didn't have time to experience it. We look forward to our next visit, maybe by then their renovations I was informed about will be complete.
I don’t have much pros to say about this hotel. Except the front desk and customer service was help and attentive. The rooms were clean and spacious. The free parking was nice, they also have a shuttle to Truist Park. However, I do have some cons that need to be pointed out. First room we were given did not have hot water. When I called the front desk, I was immediately moved to another room. The second room 235, balcony door didn’t lock, even the latch was broken on it. The bathroom was half the size of the first room. Super tiny! The shower head dripped onto the metal pan all night. The second shower head was broken off the wall. The room was an over the delivery area or kitchen, lots of noise from trucks and people. Overall not my first pick of a place to stay.
The hotel was very nice, the staff was very friendly despite a couple of hiccups. Hats off to the breakfast staff, Malik and Michael, the bartenders Tasia and Antonio. They made our stay from Chicago definitely worth it. The only reason I didn't rate it a 5 star is because they didn't have refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms. When staying somewhere for a week, that's a necessity for me. Other than that, wonderful hotel.
I use to love this hotel but this visit was disappointing. The room was clean when we arrived and service from staff was great. A few problems were they didn’t have rags in our room and were told there was a shortage. It was almost midnight before we got our rags. Then the next morning housekeeping only cleaned our bathroom but took our towels and replaced them with foot towels. We had to wait until clean towels were available. Parking was horrible as well
Rooms are basic and adequate for short stays. Location is prime. Staff is ok but ask 3 people get 3 different answers. Tried to get a room upgrade and got the runaround. They charge a fee for "incidentals " every day of your stay regardless if you charge anything to the room. Fees really add up. 10 day stay they charged $500- 50 per day. And I never used it. Now just waiting for them to credit that back. Housekeeping is great, keeps rooms clean and fresh. Pet friendly and, again, great location. Food & drinks: Breakfast buffet is convenient but pricey. Same food every day. Recommend you go across the street to local Cafe and experience something fresh.
We stayed here in late April 2024, while attending an event in Smyrna. This a really nice hotel and the location is great for getting around to various parts of North Atlanta. The only thing we didn't like was the size of the parking spaces. They were sooo small, and we feared our car would be dinged up by cars parked in either side. The best part of the hotel was the staff. Everyone from the housekeeping staff to the front desk personnel were exceptional. They were always very pleasant and helpful, no matter what time of day, or night, we asked for assistant. Although everyone was great, one employee, Brenda at the front desk, went well beyond what was expected with her service. She was like the good will ambassador for Atlanta. If you asked her for a recommendation for places to go, she was like Google. She gave us so many suggestions, we couldn't get to them all. All that we went to were great, so now we're gonna have to come back to try the rest of them. ...and guess where we'll stay. Yep, right here at the Hotel Indigo. Thank you all for a wonderful experience. Rooms: The rooms were a nice size, and the bed was very comfortable. Our room didn't have a microwave, but we forgot to request one, so that was our fault. Love the mural on the wall Nearby activities: A lot of food options, not too far from Costco Noteworthy details: If you need to know where to go in Atlanta, make sure to check with Brenda at the front desk.
Dear Management, I am writing to request your assistance in reviewing the security camera footage from Wednesday, 7/31, between approximately 10:30 PM and 11:00 PM, regarding an interaction I had with one of your staff members. Additionally, I kindly ask that you review my history of stays within IHG affiliates and seek feedback about my character from them. I trust in your ability to make an informed judgment that aligns with the best interests of your establishment. Thank you for your attention to this matter and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
I want to start of positively: there are some wonderful people here, and thankfully a good number of them work at the front desk, where good people are essential. Deja was my hero who people me navigate handling a complication with my reservation because of a twisted change my work plans. I was supposed stay a couple days, move on to Savannah for a brief period, then come back. I needed to change to staying the whole week and after an initial conversation with someone else who gave me a ridiculous rate my company would crucify me for, Deja counseled me to take the reservation I found in the app only very slightly higher rate and fixed it so I could stay in the same room, which is important if you have work items set up. It eliminated a big headache and took a weight off my shoulders. The dude who told me that the room for that one night would be more than 2x the nightly rate for the week was not my hero. And kept me waiting a long time before delivering the dumb news. Nor were the very slow breakfast waiters who didn't seem to know which of them should help me. Or the person who told me the kitchen was closed at 9:35pm even though the "restaurant hours" are conveyed to be until 11pm the hours are posted nowhere in the lobby--the restaurant is kinda part of the lobby. And rooms without refrigerators and only 1 working ice machine for guests are also avless than great combo. The one on the 2nd floor didn't work, 3rd floor one was removed entirely, hopefully to make space for a new one, and I'm not sure about the first floor. But the rooms are clean, very attractive and everyone is very pleasant, and some truly go above and beyond, thank you, Deja! Old Vinings Inn makes for a special night out with very good cocktails, service and food. The "attic" had live entertainment, not sure of schedule.
