I had the Thai broth, egg noodles and seafood hot pot and taro bubble tea. I wasn’t a fan of the broth or the bubble tea. Good experience if you’ve never had hot pot before. also it’s one hot pot per person so you’re not sharing it.
Stopped by this newer spot in the Har Mall area. It was our first time. Small establishment but was adequately stocked with simple hot pot & pho. When we were there the shaved ice cream & bubble tea was out of service. wished we could’ve had dessert! We ordered 3-Thai broth & 1-pork bone broth. Had seafood & beef for meat. Overall food was great! Had plenty of veggies! Negative was the space. Only had two tables with 6 seating. The rest were either two or 4 seatings only. Great for small groups but not recommended for large group over 4 or else you can wait patiently. Service was premium! Questions were answered with a smile & always refilled our drinks! Would definitely go back.
The broth was flavorful and good variety of ingredients in the hotpot combo. There was a sauce table to create own combination of sauce mix. The pho was good too. Definitely going back again!
Went for lunch the second day it was open 07Sep18. The staff was very friendly, restaurant was clean, and the food was amazing. I had a Thai, chicken hot pot that I cooked myself at the table; it was amazing. Will be visiting again.
SUPER friendly staff welcomed us like family. I came here before they closed temporarily. Their food here is awesome. Super fresh, good variety but not too overwhelming when it comes to selection. Individual hot pots are a wonderful idea. Everyone can have their own so you don't have to worry about dietary needs, tastes, or allergies. Their vegetarian plate is so diverse I tried tofu skin here for the first time and never knew I needed it so much in my life! They have a sauce bar so you can even try different things with your hot pot. Every time you visit can be a whole new experience of flavors! I can't wait for them to reopen. I check weekly to see if they're back.
Came in for fast good food. We were in and out in 20 minutes. We had most excellent Pho and bubble tea; other food takes longer. The service from the owner was caring and we appreciated the brief chat. Compared to other food in the immediate area, this place was faster and better value for the money. The physical building was done well too with a spacious layout indicating cleanliness and a welcoming feel.
The service was fast. The food underwhelmed. We order the thai broth and pork broth. Both were bland and under seasoned. We had to add our own spices to make it to our likings. The waitress asked us if we have ever eaten there before and we said no, so she gave us a brief description on how to use the burners. When our food came out, she kind of demanded that we put all of the meat, veggies, sides etc . . . Into our pot at once. We declined at put in pieces one by one/Cooked the food at our pace and to our liking. The waitress kept coming back and telling us, “You have to put everything in at once, cook all ur food then turn the boilers off.” She said that to us multiple times. Thats not how WE eat hotpot. It was rude and obnoxious. Never coming back again because of service and food was underwhelming.
Good service, the chicken pho was good. Nice atmosphere, will definitely go again.
We attempted to have a nice meal at this restaurant, as a hot pot is an experience. You cook the food yourself and you can make how much of everything that you want. It's something I was excited for. However, lasted week we tried to go, and there was an angry customer leaving telling us how bad the service is there. We left and got sushi. This week we tried again, hoping for it to be better. We were not impressed. Service was incredibly fast, and we ordered a hot pot and a pho. The waitress explained how to cook in a hot pot to my partner, and I got my pho. My pho had cilantro, something that wasn't explained on a menu. Yes it normally comes with cilantro, but I forgot and if someone doesn't know what pho is, they will get it with cilantro. I can't eat cilantro; it tastes like soap to me. It ruined the entire dish. Every spoonfull had cilantro. When our waitress came back I explained that I didn't know it had cilantro and I wanted to return send it back to and get one with no cilantro, but they told me I couldn't because it was already made and that I should have read the menu. The menu didn't say anything about it having cilantro, and she continued to guilt trip me about that. My partner went and paid, and they continued to guilt trip and explain to him for no reason, and we left without even eating. This was so unprofessional and we won't be going back.
Great restaurant with a team to match! The options were flavorful and the rolled ice cream really tops off the meal. My recommendation for the rolled ice cream would be the taro and oreo combo! Though it sounds weird at first, trust me you won't be disappointed. Severs were excellent in explaining what "hot pot" is along with how to eat it. Restaurant was also very cleanly.
