House of Kabob

Very excellent from start to finish. The staff was so pleasant. We even sat there for a few hours just talking and they never rushed us out. The food was fabulous. So much of it. I left feeling VERY full. Not one bad thing did we have and we ordered 3 appetizers and each a main meal. Wasnt sure I would like this food since it was a new experience- but it was FANTASTIC.

This was quite a pleasant place to grab a quick bite and some tasty coffee. We got the Shish kabob, chicken, lamb, and a gyro plate. Each dish cane out delicious and delightful looking. I liked that the feta and cilantro came out separately for use at our discretion, since some in our party had particular dietary requirements. The Turkish coffee was extremely delicious, not too sweet and not too bitter. Prices seemed reasonable and the service was good for the time of day we went.

Great food, good service. I watched a waiter help calm down a mentally challenged adult who was upset. He did it in a very caring manner. Did I mention that the food was excellent!

Open the doors to a very cozy and nice sit down resturant. Was expecting counter service but was very surprised. Food was great and lunch prices were incredibly reasonable. Will return. P.S they have real butter!

This was one of the best dining values I've ever had! I was disappointed that the lunch menu is no longer available when we arrived around 3:30 p.m. Still, even with the dinner prices, we ordered the mixed grill plate, and every single item on the plate was delicious, even the rice pilaf. No joke, this rice must havedone using a scientific recipe, because it was so fluffy, and I've eaten a lot of rice in my life. The service was also excellent. This restaurant is owned by Kurds, and as a traveler, I discovered there is a large Kurdish community in Nashville. They are located in a strip center, in a modest part of town, so when we saw the exterior, we were expecting counter-service. When we entered, however, we discovered they had very nicely built out and decorated the interior. The entire experience was lovely!
