Seems like House of Wong has been around forever! We moved away, so this was a nostalgic return. The food was good, the service great. The curry chicken was Luke-warm, but everything else was perfectly prepared. Although desert was included with our meals, pretty much only ice cream and coconut cream pie was available, and they were still going to open another 90 minutes or so. A really diverse menu with lots of options, but we stuck with the Asian food this time. Maybe next time the turkey dinner?
Ordered chicken chow mien and received this glob of mess. The majority of the dish was celery with hardly any chicken. It also didn’t taste right, and when I brought it up to the manager she told me “you must be tasting wrong today” and walked away. If you want good food and service go elsewhere.
Half the tables were dark! They sat people in booths with burned out lights! The atmosphere was lacking with two of the older ladies loudly fighting with each other. The food tasted ok but the way they served it I didn't care for. They put so much sauce on my chicken that it was soggy and gross! Sauce should be put on the side. And the serving of rice was insulting! Won't be be back anytime soon.
Used to be the only place I would eat chow mein. Just before they moved to their big beautiful place, their recipe changed and it's pretty salty now. The egg foo young is a bit different also but very edible. The sweet n sour pork was still wonderful. My husband always gets their Turkey dinner and loves it! Our waitress was wonderful, personable and funny! She was great!
You name it.. they have it! And it’s probably on special. I had a full thanksgiving dinner with soup salad and juice ! and my husbands had traditional Chinese and WE ALL GOT DESSERT!! Awesome friendly happy server as well! Pictures don’t do it justice. Maybe next time
1st time eating at this place. We decided to take home , but there was tables to dine in if that's what you prefer. It took kind of a while to get our food to go. But other then that the food was yummy and they had my favorite Cream cheese wontons and the chicken was nice a big.... Kid-friendliness: I would bring my kids here if I was to eat in. Nice size dinning area and friendly staff.. Wheelchair accessibility: Big doors that open wide. Not sure about tables I seen booth's, might want to check before taking the trip.
My friend & I took our mutual friend out for birthday #95 today and House of Wong was her choice! Her choice of entree was the same as it's been over the years: Chow Mein! The other gal had the Roasted Chicken & I the succulent cheesy Mushroom/Bacon Chicken Breast. We all happily had leftovers to enjoy at home plus our desserts! Thanks for the delicious food and attentive service!
Absolutely the very worst experience in customer service I’ve had in a long time. Waiter was untrained, manager was rude. After nearly an hour wait for our food , We get the bill and find that we were charged $20 for items that were supposed to be a $1.90 add on. To get a price fix she wanted the food back at end of our meal. She comped us with extra fortune cookies. WOW!!! That made everything right—NOT!!!! I’ve never had that poor of service there before. I’m disappointed to say the least.
