Houston Central Seventh-day Adventist Church

It's a place of true worship to our Lord . I have just (month)started going to 7th day Adventist Church. Though I'm 64 yrs. old I wish I would have known about the Church earlier in life , now I'm behind and I need to catch up . I'am asking my Lord to be a little more patient with me ! I have to let all of my family know about Jesus Christ . Thank You Lord and please forgive me !

I totally agree with Crese! They need to close the food pantry because they are also stealing all the good food and giving the scraps to the hungry. I have witnessed this MANY times and the people only volunteer so they can get there free food first! before the needy! and by law they are supposed to serve the people in need FIRST! and the food staff ALL steal and keep the good food for themselves, including the two main directors 1 male & 2 female. and one of the females who volunteer takes food home and feed her exotic birds! They will be investigated sooner than later! also, for the holidays they host a party for the people that they fed scraps to and not only are all prizes donated by big stores but they steal those too! and the prize winners always go home with defective gifts! pure crooks! not a good example to the people and this is the reason i stay away from churches now!

They are very rude to Hispanic people during pantry hours, and very picky on there food. The volunteers are very unhelpful, & they don't know how to assist other people when it there turn to get food, they reply with no manners to other people qestions and with help. I even talk to the main pastor for the food company asking "why is your volunteers being very disrespectful to everyone and ignoring there time and qestions" he replys with "we are very busy" after the volunteers are laugh and talking in big group. This pantry is very picky of other and lack of respect to others.
