Went in 5 minutes before the kitchen closed on a Tuesday night and the place was crowded but I got a bowl of jambalaya and a frothy mug of ale at the bar. I met the owner and his sister and had a sweet time. He's been running the place for over 20 years. Really nice hospitality and great vibe. Can't wait to go back!
Sheila you were right. I needed a bowl not a cup of gumbo. Everything was flavorful and so delicious.
Very nice atmosphere. I had the shrimp and chorizo pasta it was delicious! The fried oysters were just ok and I had a dirty martini for the first time and not my favorite drink choice but that’s just me lol. the staff was friendly and I will definitely be back!
This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food was delicious. I took a star away only because the catfish and shrimp needed a little more seasoning.
