Huddle House is an American Cuisine where the cook is fantastic and he's quite handsome. I recommended it for everyone from ages 4 to 400.
Go here often, different experience almost every time. Never had bad experience with wait staff, most issues come with the orders, and timing not wait time, more like when to start bacon vs dropping an order of fries which do get corrected so I won't do away with a star just for that reason. Plus, the kids love their waffles!!
Our waitress Nicole was AMAZING. She was working the floor all by herself and she kept up with everyone and never lost her temper or that smile...me and my pawpaw come here alot and i hope we will get Nicole again..food was amazing too but i wasn't able to ask for the cooks name....she was a woman with black hair and kicking butt on the grill
It was good food. It's a little modern compared to some of the diner style restaurants in rural areas, but to some people it's probably not part of the experience of your feet stick to the bacon grease on the floor, this place had clean floors and smelled normal. Food prepared correctly and cooked as ordered.
The staff was completely consumed in their conversations between each other. It was only me and my daughter in the building and then a customer walked in after we had already placed our order, that customer was served before we were. Our waitress was too busy conversating and what seems to be flirting with the cook to give him our order the waitress that took the other man's order properly placed his order and he received his food in a timely manner and his check in a timely manner however my waitress took too long with my order and then nuked my biscuits and gravy in the microwave to the point that it was so hot I couldn't eat it. Then upon having waited as long as we did my daughter's pancakes were wrong she got the Oreo pancakes the ones that are $7 and all he made her was regular pancakes with whipped cream and cookie crumble on top luckily the waitress was kind enough to take that off of my bill and charge me less for it. I know that service industry worker and I am just tired of tipping when it is not deserved when you work for tips you have to go above and beyond for your customers that is your job you are literally in the service industry.
When you walk in they don't acknowledge you & say we will be with you in a minute. You sit there & wait forever until they come to table. Tables are always dirty & you have to wait until they clean it off. Cook staff are not professional & we have heard them curse out loud & place is usually very smokey. The waitress are pretty nice though so it's not totally horrible but this place can use some pepping up.
Greeted as I walked in but not properly as per Huddle House code. Waitress was punctual but not attentive. Took my order, which was not properly cooked; or as requested. I scanned the facility as I ate. A few things could use improvement. Seems as though the staff was not properly trained to be employed by Huddle House. Not sure if the reason for being different had to do with the location of the restaurant. Never attended to until I was assumed finished and was handed the ticket. I paid and left a $2 tip because I know what its like to be a waitress.
This place really does have good food and good service. Only one time I went there and the service wasn't good but that's because the chef left. I find them clean, efficient, and I don't have to wait long to have my coffee refilled.
I love Huddle House....but not this one. It is often crowded, but even when it is not, there is usually a substantial wait time to be served. Prices and food are great, but they do skimp on the hash browns when they are busy. Surprisingly good dessert options and I will always prefer them to Waffle House.
Food was terrible. Got maybe 4 hunks of steak tips. Forgot someone's hash browns so they used mine. Never brought mine. Brought a 3rd egg that was old and cold instead. Then ended up paying almost red lobster prices for the meal.
