Everything you need at an airport store: trinkets, souveniers, and over-priced snacks and drinks. I actually found a really cool painted tile with beautiful hummingbirds on it, and I ended up buying two. We had bought a larger, hand-painted tile at the Pueblo Cultural Center earlier in our trip, which we fell in love with, even though it was pricey. However, the pieces at the airport were about 1/10 of the price we paid for that, so I was super happy to come home with two miniature versions of our original piece. They sit in my guest bathroom and I totally love them, and LOVE that I found these two at an airport gift shop for only $10 each.
A broad range of books to choose from if you forgot to load your tablet with something for your flight, plus friendly but unobtrusive staff.
They will sell you headphones knowing your flying Delta which offers free headphones. Very shady, stay away
Who sells magazines that are three months old at full price? Got my two magazines for my flight, got on the plane and realize they were three months old. My next trip three weeks later I addressed it with the staff, and they were terrible and wouldn’t do anything about it and basically didn’t care at all. I wouldn’t shop here for the sheer fact they don’t keep their magazines updated or make good when there’s an issue.
Misrepresented that the restaurant further down the concourse was closed when it wasn't, causing me to purchase a large number of unconscionably overpriced snacks. Later the clerk apparently found nothing inappropriate about singing loudly so half the people at the gate could hear it. Thanks for proving what we always thought about the evil of monopolies.
Accidentally bought a book I’d already read. The manager exchanged it no problem for one slightly more expensive. Very nice cashier, too! I always shop at Hudson when I fly. Thanks!
Don’t buy anything here. Complete and utter ripoff. $50 for Apple earbuds? They know you’re captive in the airport and they use it to their advantage. Don’t fall prey to the trap.
As an employee at the airport, 3-12-22 @ 8:00 am, before security at the ABQ Sunport, I Went in to purchase a RX Bar and the price tag read 1.99, clerk checked me out and said that it’s 4.99, and advised that they change the prices all the time, and that the new price is 4.99, she did not honor the price that was marked on item, I went to verify other flavors and all of them are marked 1.99 each.
Amanda, employee of Hudson News at the Albuquerque Sun-port, was extraordinarily helpful in assisting me to find a particular gift for which my father had asked. Unlike two of her colleagues, one of whom promised to assist me and did not and another who did not appear very interested, Amanda went the extra mile. Thank you so much, Amanda. It is wonderful to know that there are people out there like you.
I just left this store and refused to give my money to this establishment. The clerk was rude and very unprofessional. I politely said excused me and the clerk response was WHAT! I will never spend my money in an establishment who will treat me with dignity and respect.
