Fond memories of this place. Serviceable room plus great walking areas with the Humber arboretum nearby. If you are studying at Humber or Guelph Humber I recommend staying on residence the first year to meet all kinds of people.

If you can live somewhere else besides residence i would suggest it. It would have taken me 5 hours total transit time to get back and forth from school if i didn't live on residence, and that would have been infinitely better. food is not good for what you pay, small rooms, bad internet. but if you have to live here try to get a quiet floor.

I went to Humber for the funeral services program. The building can be a bit confusing for the first week but after that you will get the hang of it all. Their food resources are quite good however you can expect to see the odd insect problem. Be cautious around the communal lounges as I'm sure you, as I did not, wouldn't want to bring any unwanted pests home with you.

Clean, warm building. Staff are friendly but are very strict and ruthless about visitors entering the building. The staff attempted to lock me out of the building overnight this winter after I stepped out of the doors to pick up a pizza. Even though they were able to see me and the pickup took less than 30 seconds, i was not allowed to enter again because the person I was staying with had fallen asleep. If I did not have the number of a girl staying in a different building who was willing to come out and re-sign me in under her name, I would've been stuck outside in late November in a t-shirt and pajama pants at 3 am about 40km from my home and with no cash. I'm sure the staff have common sense but the guidelines restrict their ability to use it.
