Hunan Asian Cuisine

Nice variety of foods here with a clean attractive dining area. The food is easily one or more steps above the bounty of neighbourhood hole in the wall Chinese take outs. Even the take away food is carefully presented. When you want something special which hasn’t elevated itself into the realm of snooty prices give Hunan a try.

Absolutely my favorite sit down Chinese place to eat at in North Wilmington and technically all the surrounding areas! I have not found anything nearly as good as this. on top of the excellent food they also are great people, I always have a great meal and experience when I go here !

This is our favorite Asian food in the area. The staff is always so nice, the food is delicious, and they have some dishes that aren’t offered at other spots. After moving from NY I struggled to find a spot that felt like Asian food I was used to and Hunan is by far the best in the area. We enjoy takeout and dine-in from Hunan and if you you have the time for dine-in, I highly recommend it. The restaurant is nicely updated and quick with service. We will always be costumers here.

Sunday, 13Nov2022 was my first time ordering food from this restaurant. I can say, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our food and We will definitely be back. Wish you were open today! Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options available , which i’ll order in the near future. Parking: Parking in the parking lot was plentiful

I was told by various people that this place had really good food. So I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Pu Pu platter which is an appetizer plate and everything on it tasted like it was freezer burnt. I also ordered General Tso’s chicken and it literally was mushy chicken skins with absolutely no chicken meat whatsoever. Worst decision ever, threw 90% of the food in the trash.

I love this restaurant. Everything is super delicious, the staff are friendly, and the restaurant is clean! My favorites are the Thai Green Curry and Mee Saigon. The fried rice and dumplings are also amazing.

Fantastic. My grandfather discovered this place 5 years ago and we have not gotten Chinese food anywhere else since. The food is great and the staff is wonderful. Vegetarian options: Love the vegetable fried rice and vegetable spring rolls. Kid-friendliness: The staff is so nice and they offer the kids candy when they leave.

Ingredients seem good, but the flavor is generally a little flat. Extra spicy was at most a 3 out of 10. Number of cashews in the 'cashew' chicken was light. *Picture is half eaten.

This food is CRAZY. Totally didn't expect how good it would be. Our new spot hands down. Staff are extremely nice and helpful.

This is the first night we ordered from here. Definitely the best Chinese we’ve tried. I had called and inquired about a sauce since I have celiacs and they were nice enough to switch out the sauce that came with the steamed dishes with a white one which was delicious. My husband loved his dinner combination too. Happy to have found a place with great food and one that accommodates for dietary restrictions !
