Hunan Restaurant

I have family in Concord and pretty much every time I go to California, I eat here. The owners are friendly. The food is good. The food is fresh. The choices are plenty. The portions are adequate and the prices are reasonable. The owners remember our favorites and always ask me what took me so long to come back. Everything I look for when I eat out. When I eat at other Chinese restaurants, I feel guilty. It’s like home and I am very comfortable here for eat-in or take out.

This place is a hit or miss. The first time I went here it was ok. This last time I couldn’t get myself to finish eating because it was so terrible. I don’t return to places that are hit or miss.

Friendly family business, they know you by name, and give extras. The food is the best, and we keep coming back for more. It is worth driving the extra mile for it, and the extra wait if it is busy! Superb!
