Story

Dr. Hammill is a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has held several academic and leadership positions in Obstetrics and Gynecology at various academic institutions during the course of his career. Dr. Hammill is an attending physician at the Women’s Hospital Houston Texas.

Dr. Hammill received the Barbara Jordan Leadership Award In 1993 and the AVES Pyramid award in 1998. He is a clinical instructor in residency training and also actively participates in the training of medical students, PA students and midwife students. Dr. Hammill has been Principal or Co Investigator for various HIV/AIDS research projects and has been cited in numerous scientific journals both locally and internationally. He has also been awarded the HIV Leadership Award in 2005. He has co-authored numerous publications in peer reviewed articles. He is a member of many medical and scientific societies.
