Shame they don't respond when you contact them. Don't know what I pay for between the user fee and the taxes I pay living and working here in Huntington. Losing more and more respect for the law enforcement in our area. It is especially sad when you have family that was law enforcement and you too went to school for it.

I personally haven't had any bad experience from the police. I'm sure like in any profession there are bad and good. But likewise, some of the people they deal with are not angels either. However, good or bad cop, a call about a child or elderly being in need and I'm sure even the worst would risk their own life to help them. And risking their lives arresting the same violent criminal over and over because the time doesn't fit the crime. Example: Rape a woman and get life without parole. Rape and kill her get 5 to 10 years. People killing their own children out of jail in 1 to 4 years. Sure, some police are not up for an award. But I personally wouldn't want to do their job. How many of us would risk our life for the pay they get. I'm not saying it's ok what some do. But just that I don't judge them all because of a few.
