Hurts Donut

Oh my goodness! This was my first visit to hurts donut. The Taste is amazing! It far out ways every other donut shop I have ever tried. Today I sampled the strawberry cheesecake. What a selection they have! Although their donuts are a bit on the pricier side, It is quite the experience and I would recommend sampling their donuts at least once.

I typically love Hurts Donuts. I’ve been to several of them. However, this was my first visit to the Wichita one. When we first arrived, workers were sitting around a table talking. It took a couple of minutes before anyone helped us. We asked about their famous Maple Bacon Bars. They were out. She then said “We have some bacon in the back. If you want, I can throw it on that long john there.” And she pointed to one that looked older, and had a plastic sign stuck in it, advertising the strawberry donuts behind it. No thanks. Why on earth would you not keep one of your more famous donuts restocked? Especially since you’re a 24 hour business? The girl was no help, and seemed like we were bothering her. And when i went to ask her another question, she just walked away. I have no idea where she went. The place was also filthy. So, we left. I won’t be visiting that one again. Update - I decided to give this one another try before leaving town. The same rude girl was working. She never spoke to me, and never even made eye contact with me. I had to ask for help from another girl in the back. They still didn’t have any Maple Bacon Bars. I had planned on getting something else if they didn’t have it, but the second girl was equally rude...so I left. Plus, it was, once again, filthy in there. I refuse to give them my money. Tulsa Hurts was on my way home. So, I instead stopped there, and got donuts for my whole family and I. It was cleaner, nicer, and the workers were BEYOND friendly and helpful. A completely different experience. Wichita Hurts could learn a few things from Tulsa Hurts, for sure. Oh. Also - Tulsa had the Maple Bacon Bars.

Fantastic customer service always! No matter what time of day that I've visited, from 3pm in the afternoon or 3am in the morning. None of their staff has ever made me feel like I was a burden for ordering a shake at 3 in the morning. All of the donuts i have ordered are all consistently the same, every time I visit. Very pleased with this business and location.

This place has great service and excellent donuts! I’m never disappointed when I come to Hurts. Just make sure you bring cash to give a tip.

Always a great place for a treat. I usually stop in for a break and snack when passing through. My favorites are the Jesus, Cookie Monster, and they have a killer old-fashioned. And apple fritters bigger than your head!
